I worked hard on learning these guitar parts by ear, and I believe this is the closest to the true rhythm line that you'll find out there. I'm super stoked on this video, both because it took me quite a long time to learn and because the tune is fantastic.

so ive tried alot now i just started to work on coheed songs i love em i learned welcome home, the afterman, sentry the defiant, running free and mother superior i started domino last week and i couldnt get it i was about to give up then i saw this and the instructional one. The evolution of your facial expression from 3:20-3:50 is like a perfect example of that magic that Coheed has. That little rush of euphoria when they flawlessly transition from blasty hard rock to a smooth groove with those classic Claudio vocals. Keep up the good work brother!

Coheed usually plays in 1/2 step lower, but also uses a drop d on top of that in some tunes I think. I just discovered C&C this summer, yeah I'm a old fart! One of the few new bands that has substance. I love them.

They only used Eb standard for the Good Apollo Volume 1 album, but they use it in several more songs. They usually play in standard and drop D

Sick cover bro, tons of energy. One thing I picked up while watching you play is that when you get to the part after the ladies and gentlemen riff, you strum the 3rd and 5th fret of the E before going into the neat little lick. Try doing it on the 3rd and 4th fret, it sounds closer to the original track. Aside from that, this cover is gleaming flawless
