funny you kept applogizing for the wind, but dang if that's not a great mic as I never would've guessed if you hadn't mentioned it.
I really like these mics! Run the gain at -27dB and dead cat works great for outdoors!
I've road tripped from san diego to oregon, and sd to tucson arizona in a 2014 modsl S 60. Less range. Even slower charging and it works great. Take an actual road trip with "a better route planner" free app, set it to "fastest trip" with arrival at 5% state of charge. It'll blow you away with how good of a road tripper it is. We always finished charging before we were done with our stop for food or drinks. More often then not it was ready sooner then I needed so we could go further in next leg of trip. Its easy to speculate it might not be a good road tripper, until you actually do it. And realize its amazing. I GREW up road tripping in i.c.e. vehicles my whole life, and these early model S are as good or better then any other road trip vehicles in my experience. Comfortable, capable, safe, and roomy.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Just purchased a 2024 Tesla Model Y long range three days ago. Have lots to learn but it’s a blast to drive. The app is incredible. Having a NEMA 14-50 plug installed in my garage next week. Got the $7,500 tax incentive taken right off the price at time of purchase and 5,000 supercharger miles.
That's great! My brother just picked up a 2024 Tesla Model 3 LR and he transferred his unlimited free supercharging. He will not have paid for charging in 20 years...
Hot Second - LOL. I can’t complain about SC. It’s free for me.
Have you heard anything about when the 24 id4's will be available in the U.S.? First quarter is over and there don't seem to be any on the lots. Very strange.
Nothing… The small battery 24s are on lots already. My guess is they are using the rest of the parts that aren’t used on the Pro and above models. My guess is mid to late 2024…
@@theaverageev Thanks. Ridiculous. I've been waiting for one but now I'm thinking just go with an Ioniq 5.
@@theaverageev Thanks. It's ridiculous. Trying to decide if I should just get a 2023 pro s plus. I wanted the preconditioning and improved software but waiting till summer or year end is insane. Maybe I should just go with an Ioniq 5.
Any intake about the summon feature?
I'm not sure if I was doing it wrong or if it was disabled, but it did mot work for me when I finally tried it.
My 2014 model s has summon but just forward and back for uo tp 50 ft when you are within 50 ft of the car
I wish Tesla made a more luxury model 3. 3S? The S is just too big and wide.
The S is too big. I feel like I’m driving a boat! I’m so used to my small Kona, still getting a hang of the size!
I hate the model 3 lol, too small. Guess its a preference thing. Model 3 has 0 luxury feel, the door handle push pull annoys me, the lack of instrument cluster behind wheel, and the size is more sporty but was less comfortable for trips, way less storage. Model s is much more luxury feeling and has a ton more space
