I really hope that when we more types of King Salmonids (since dialogue regarding the King Salmonid suggests there more King Salmonids than just Cohozuna), the rewards will be better- Like maybe Cohozuna is just the most basic type, so the rewards are meh.
Yeah I can get 10 at professional part timer level, doesn't seem to be fair to get 12 at max
@@missmadness564 Apparently, the threat level only increases the chance of silver and gold scales dropping.
Even at apprentice level you can still get the max amount of 13 scales because it is a formula based upon the amount of damage you do to Cohozuna and the time left when you defeat him (you need to kill them with 30+ seconds left for the full time bonus).
Higher threat level increases the chance of gold and silver but only slightly. The base level chance for gold is 1%. Max threat level only give you a 2% drop rate for gold.
So yeah. The only reason to play higher threat level is the score multiplier for rewards and the thrill of the chaos. You don’t get much in terms of more scales.
@@wabbit2099 It's a bit more generous than that, but only _slightly._ At a base hazard level of 0 you have a 5% chance of getting silver scales and 0% for gold scales, then for every 111% the hazard level goes up, the silver rate goes up by 5 and gold by 1 (maxing out at 20% chance for silver and 3% for gold).
So while it's very much not generous at all, this guy was also absurdly unlucky to get 12 scales and have them all be bronze, lol.

I have Eggsecutive there yo have to collect 22 to 28 eggs, and on the first 10 seconds there are like 5 boss salmonids

I hope I’m not the only one who notices this, but i feel whenever you clear the final wave and the victory siren sounds distorted, it means Cohozuna is going to show up
I mean theres a dedicated cohozuna bar, you wouldnt even need the sound
@@tubemash3772 Yeah but everyone on the team could have different fullness on the bars, like once mine was about half full and there was still a cohozuna wave because it takes the average of everyone's fullness. So the siren could be helpful
@@tubemash3772 while the chances of getting Cohozuna do increase the more the bar fills up, its never 100% guaranteed

Was the Mudmouth wave in the first one glitched? Because they dosappeared all the time. It’s interesting because so many people encounter glitches with the Mudmouths but I never had a single glitch with them although I always wanted them to be glitchy at least once
