Unfortunately, it’s never gonna happen. The manufacturer serves the DEALER, not the customer. They come first, the actual customer comes last. I should know, I work for one. Even I’m not able to order one without a $25,000- “market value adjustment”. Not cool.

Toyota has for a long time been known for fun cars, and this is them bringing it back into the present. I would buy and recommend this car 100%.
Please develop a system to battle dealership markups so that the consumers can benefit from such a great machine!
What markups? It's illegal to sell a car for more than MSRP, I used to work selling for Toyota & Cadillac. Now packages can get expensive. My finance manager at Caddy used to offer the $50 Simonzing spray for up to $500 or maybe a $1000 if the customers were super gullible. I was probably the most honest salesman since I was young & agreed to work for $1,000 a month +$100 per car sold. I explained the situation to my customers that it didn't benefit me any more to sell them a 35k car or 100k+ car so let's just get them the car they needed it was a wrap. First month's check was 4k meaning I sold 30 cars. That's over a million in product. Whatever I'm selling, I move it by the boatload.

I would LOVE to add this car to the fleet, alongside my Tacoma. But I have a feeling you aren’t going to manufacture anywhere near enough of them, and I refuse to pay over MSRP. I’ll buy one of these if 1) I can test drive one, and 2) I can find one without too much hassle / forced to pay a “popular vehicle market adjustment”. Please make lots of these.

@@matthewberger6382 excellent choice! Most people will mod the car anyway so the core is perfect. Also, I'm sure a company will come up with gearing to match or better that will perform better than the Morizo edition.
Could you make more of them so this car and GR become legends for their performance? I'd love to have one, but it's off the radar and into obscurity for me and many others if they're marked up for exclusivity.

Mark ups are gonna be crazy
Toyota should build a factory just for sport cars and build your own sport cars without collaborations. Keep your heritage and take pride in building sport cars, this is an example of excellence. Yaris GR should be offered in north america for a short run.
I mean, it kind of is. GR Yaris is available in Canada, and it even got a limited run in Mexico. It’s just that in America, ppl with a small car are looked down upon for reasons unbeknownst to me. And even that’s not entirely accurate, since the Hyundai Kona is roughly abt the same size as many small hatchbacks, but it’s much more popular not because it’s bigger, but because it’s *taller.* Here in America, it’s not abt who has the bigger car. It’s abt who has the taller car. And the GR Yaris is short. Even as a limited run, the GR Yaris wouldn’t do too well. At least the GR Corolla has the added benefit of utility because of the extra size and space. GR Yaris doesn’t even have that excuse
