NFL Broadcaster Cris Collinsworth joins us today on In the Trenches with Dave Lapham to discuss the Bengals offseason and to give his thoughts on the Bengals 2024 draft class.
Lap and Cris discuss why they think the Bengal's 2024 offseason has been very impressive so far. With the additions of Mike Gesicki, Geno Stone, Vonn Bell, Sheldon Rankins, and Trent Brown both Lap and Cris think the Bengals have improved at multiple positions.
Cris also gives his opinion on the Bengals 2024 draft class. The Bengals had a very impressive draft and Cris thinks a lot of this class will be impact players for the Bengals in 2024. They made big changes in the trenches by drafting Amaruis Mims at offensive tackle and added two new defense tackles Kris Jenkins and McKinnley Jackson. The Bengals also made big additions to the tight end room with Erik All and Tanner Mclachlan.

I'm a lifelong Brown fan but by living in OH I get to rub elbows with plenty Bengals fans. I watch all the AFC North teams (our Conf is the NFL best) I remember Chris during his playing days he was solid but he has really shined as a broadcaster some people don't like him but like he said "I want to learn something new" and Collingsworth has delivered kudos to him.
Yeah I rember watching chris play boy he sure had good hands .but the only thing that he wasn't very good at was yards after the catch .he basically had rubber band legs. Just couldn't break tackles and get extra yards .
Yeah I love Cris. I think he's awesome
One other thing, that gets overlooked from last season, with a backup quarterback the Bengals finished in playoff contention. To me, last year’s finish shows that the rest of the team is solid; we are not a one man show. With Joey B healthy, and a respectable D, the Bengals have the talent to win it all in NOLA.
Dave deserves to be inducted into the Ring of Honor.
