- At the beginning of July, my fiancé Yang and I drove from Indiana to California to relocate for his job! Finally like 2 weeks later I finished editing this video lol. It was a trip that was so interesting and memorable! I had no idea how much of the US is just rural and/or uninhabited land, like for example I read that 87% of Kansas is farmland!
Also, this trip was not without struggle although this video does not portray that; we had to eat in the car all the time since we couldn't leave Misty in there by herself (essentially traveling with Misty was like having a young child haha). But yeah praise the Lord, we didn't have any major car or health problems and made it to CA as planned!
I had fun editing this video & I hope you enjoy it! Let me know in the comments if you've done a trip like this or will do one in the future!

Lovely!
I like your video! I’m bout to take the same journey in October by myself. I lived in Indianapolis for 37 years; I worked the same job for 19 years and including TSA for 6 years. No kids; No wife….
I lived in the same house for 12 years. I only visited LA 3 times since October in my life. So, I’m packing up driving cross county to the city of angels. The video has inspire me a lot. The most terrorize experience I think is the distance. That’s a long trip. 😄😄😄😄😄😄
Haha yes it was very long! Good luck with your trip, safe travels!
I love it :)
OH thank u very much !
Omg! You bullet journal too?! I'm glad you guys made it safely.
Thanks! And yes bullet journaling is so great, I get in touch with my inner child lol
@@TamaraWang I just started bullet journaling last year in December. I never knew about until last year. It's so fun! I love using stationary. Do you collect stationary? I live in Japan now so I can send you some really cute stuff.
@@MykahCroom Awww that would be so fun yes pls send me stuff! I don’t really collect stationery mostly because I didn’t have that much time to bujo in grad school and I was kinda broke lol. What are you doing in Japan??
Awesome video !! This is my home state but currently have been living in Kansas for three yrs now. The wife and kids I are road-tripping out there in a few weeks and this video got me super psyched! Lol hope all is well.
Oh lol I lived in Olathe, KS for 5 years! Hope you guys have a good trip 😄
@@TamaraWang appreciate it 🙏🏼 and Olathe is a super beautiful place. One of the best spots in Kansas to live.
I LOVE this - what a great summary of your trip!!!
Thanks so much mom !
👍
I live in Torrance and will be moving to Carmel/fishers in 6 months due to my job relocating. :/
Oh wow good luck! I grew up in Fishers and it’s great. It’s grown a lot and is pretty comparable to Torrance, except obviously no beach, and less traffic.
Shameless plug for my mom who is a realtor there lol. Her name is Sara Guest, she works under FC Tucker
Did you drive in scary mountains?
cool! do you think its possible to do this trip in 2-2.5 days?
Yeah if you don't have a dog like I did, then I think it's possible! Just to have room for any potential road problems maybe 2.5 days is the best plan though
question, i will be traveling in car from Cali to indiana ALONEEE …any tips?? also can we travel with just california ID/ birth certificate
Oh good luck!! Make sure to be prepared in terms of car things since it’s a lot of driving through the middle of nowhere. And I think as long as you bring a driver’s license it’s ok
