- How can we improve our school library design, and create spaces that students love and use on a regular basis?
In part two of a three part series, Reset EDU visits Suzee Stephenson and the Sandburg Middle School library in Elmhurst, IL. We are using a design thinking framework to reset and refresh the library space of our school, wondering, "How might we better utilize our library space?"
Part two explores our BIG IDEAS for renovating the space, and we discuss what small steps we have taken so far to change the library. Part three will incorporate even more changes we have in store to help make the library a main hub and gathering space for our school, so be sure to subscribe for updates as they come!

Project Reset is my #LAX18 Innovator Project for the Google Certified Innovator program, a web series where I strive to help educators hit their own professional “reset” button by applying Design Thinking principles to their teaching career, be it curriculum, physical spaces, or even professional relationships.
Have you tried turning it off and back on again? Is it time for a RESET?

Hi all! Do you have any favorite tips or ideas for revamping a classroom space?
Guessing this didn’t go well. No part three 🙈
ollie hembrough Dang you caught me! 😂Honestly, things were moving at a snails pace. We did get delayed. We were in the process of getting the space painted with our PTA and then COVID happened and all heck broke loose. I am determined to get this finished one day. It’s just going to take much longer than originally anticipated. I hope you’ll hang in there with me!!!
