Dear brothers and sisters in Christ... I want to share my own testimony. About 2 months ago, for reasons I won't elaborate, I thought my life was coming to an abrupt end... and it was Yeshua, through the Holy Spirit the sanctifier, that persuaded me not to take that coarse of action... and it was revealed to me, that the Lord, God, blessed be his name, loves me, and believes all life is precious and valuable. It did humble me. I feel so unworthy... and I feel so loved. Lord Jesus is my King, he is the Risen King, his light channels through the darkness that abounds.
I am syriac arameic, growing up my dad always prayed this with us before bed. I know it by heart. Mighty is the name of Jesus Christ of Nasareth, Holy three times is his name, all glory to the Risen King and savior of the world. Happy easter to all orthodox. HE IS RISEN HALLELUJAH

I dont know why but the aramaic version of our father brings me always close to crying. The way we pray it in our languages is not worthy when u listen to this music

these words are alive. they speak to all who have ears to hear. i have gone my entire life child to man 43 years, without crying even in private. Correct me if i'm wrong with anything, but this is the Abun-dbashmayo (our father) i have been taught and know in Syriac.
Thank you for this, I am of Syrian descendant and I remember hearing this in our church when I was a kid. Then once I am in the English church, slowly forgot everything. But I do listen to Syrian Prayers and whenever I do, I can feel my cells remembering all that my ancestors went through for faith- the persecution, the travels, the losses, the laughter the tears.. all in the hope of seeing the Lord again.
