So Fire and Ice has always been a staple in gaming and were combining those to make a powerful warlock build that hang with the best of them. This Build will actually get stronger tomorrow with the release of Act 2 and the Artifact mod called Solar Fulmination where your ignitions do increased damage in a increased radius!
But what I think is even better is that this Build is so so easy to use, yet very strong solo or with a group. You bring crowd control at its finest by freezing everything, you bring great damage with shatter and ignitions and then great passive damage with Unravel, Scorch and your solar buddy damage.
In this solo grandmaster in the first room here I made a point to not use my Transcendent form or my super song of flame so you could see how strong the base build is all on its own, It's then made only better by incorporating transcendence and your super and we all know how strong those two are on the Prismatic warlock!

Congrats on the sponsor. You deserve it. Ive made something kinda mean you may wanna try. The classic veritys glacier grenade with whisper of shards and torment with glacial harvest and iceflare bolts. Using the pale heart hand canon with enhanced demo and headstone, but then getting devour with buried bloodline. With veritys, demo, the fragment, and devour, you're getting a double damage crystal grenade in probably no more than 10 seconds, if that. Not to mention frost armor and devour keeps you alive well. At the very least, id recommend revisiting whisper of torment. With max frost armor, you get like 20% grenade energy per damage instance taken

Plunder, I know that osmiomancy are overpowered but can u try and make another build that compliments this idea. This is not a demand this is just a suggestion. My RNG is horrible so osmiomancy gloves are a no for me. Again this is a suggestion, not a demand. If you read this, thank you for taking your time to read this. :)
Oooo, I have bad news. Glacier-nade doesn't work with Verity. You still get it super fast, but the shatter doesn't increase.

there are so many builds that are absolutely fantastic that i haven't really felt the need to grind for class items...plus the fact that the RNG is crazy right now..im super satisfied with my builds using already obtained exotics
I'm in the exact same boat 👍 I already have good builds.. so no need (for me) to run 10,000 overthrows and then run around looking & hoping RNG is good when farming chests 👎 I'm cool off that
Similar deal! I've been ill, I wanna play Destiny! I've got a handful of extremely solid builds across all 3 Classes! A couple getting beefed up with some of the new weapons & obviously this build is a great example! Osmiomancy Gauntlets on the Transcendence setup is nutty!
Same here. I haven't even bothered getting the class items since there are so many exotics that already pair great with prismatic.
Don’t grind class items it’s a nightmare
@JDxxatteis I have no intentions to lol! I saw everything you had to do for "double drops" and I was like naaaaah...bungie has shown they are willing to find other ways to make exotics obtainable over the years...I think the same will happen with class exotics.

@@heroneosstry using gamblers dodge, duskfield and withering blade, GPG and Winters Shroud, facet of protection, bravery, balance, purpose (goldie for restoration), hope, and of course Ruin.
Ideally for exotic I’d recommend inmost light and cyrtarachne class item but calibans works well if you prefer more ignitions (and fits the fire and ice theme). If you don’t have anything like that you could just run frostees, sixth coyote, or even something as weird as bombardiers if you’re feeling spicy.
For armor mods, run grenade kickstart or surges, reaper and powerful attraction (and time dilation if you prefer weapon surges) plus whatever other armor mods ya want

That’s crazy lol, my best exotic class item currently is inmost+coyote, trying to get the cyrtarachne combo with inmost light still. I love the way the build plays, I almost always use conditional finality paired with a heal clip+incandescent weapon. My favorites are adept nullify and heliocentric for different range options. This is a darned if you do, darned if you don’t, but I wouldn’t mind having every few builds revolve around an exotic class item combo. Im guessing they would get less views, but I’d be very interested in seeing what masterpieces you could cook up with those.

You’ve done a bunch of Prismatic warlock builds now plunder, which takes the top spot for GM / master dungeons etc?
This is what I’ve been using since day 1 bc getaway artist (while super good) gets boring fast 😢 but sometimes I put on bleak watcher instead of devour if I’m feelin risky 😂
This is literally what I ran day 1 lol. Osmiomancy with coldsnap was a no brainer when they first announced it as one of the greandes for warlock.

In a build like this, devour is key. An extra grenade is overkill. I prefer spirit of osmio and star eaters, the star eaters buff is strong on song of flame specially with the fragments you mentioned.
Use errianas vow instead, when it breaks a barrier shield it causes an ignition

I use the arc buddy/solar buddy form of this and it slaughters
Given what we know about the new row of perks, Whisper of the Worm or Still Hunt is a good pick for Exotic Weapon to base the build around.
For kinetic slot, though,I think a Strand weapon is actually a better pick than Stasis; while Stasis weapons could proc the Creeping Chill artifact mod, adding additional Slow bursts, you're already doing enough Freezing with the grenades that it might not do much. A Strand weapon, though, can proc Threaded Blast on the Tangles you'll be making by Unraveling and Severing enemies, adding another source of big area damage.
You could technically do both if you use Still Hunt, by putting one of Stasis or Strand as your Heavy, but unless you're using an LMG it probably isn't worth the Heavy ammo to detonate Tangles, so using it for Stasis is still the better option.
I would take the fragment for improved class ability cooldown in that flex spot if it's working properly

A video without a certain roll on a class item? Now this is the Plunder I kept coming back to every week for a new build
I put together basically this exact build using what I had available to me for doing the legend campaign on warlock. Actually made it a braindead cakewalk. Osmiomancy Gloves honestly go harder than any of the exotic class items that I've gotten to drop for me so far.
My Osmiomancy/Harmony class item should work well with this. Bold Endings with Headstone and Aberrant Action with Heal Clip/Incandescent and either Dragon's Breath for ignitions or Winter's Bite for extra freezing. A lot of people have forgotten about Winter's Bite but it works great in a lot of prismatic builds
Been using this with Tessellation!! Grants grenade energy when you use the charge shot with osmiomancy and you just spam high damage and slow/shatter with the cat
Fun fact hit a boss with cold snap and when it hits the ground and hits the boss again that gives you 100% of your coldsnap back
That 5th fragment made me confused at first. But then, I remembered that your transcendent grenade is both void and stasis.
Also, Spirit of Osmiomancy only works if your grenade hits a target. If it lands near the target, you don’t get faster recharge time on your grenade; it has to touch the enemy before landing on the ground/wall.
Finally I understand why it never worked for me. I always throw my grenades at the floor in front of who I want to hit lol
@@navarog152 yup, I tested this and Bungie made it emphasize on “hit” in the description of what it does. It’s kind of annoying. For the class armor, I’d rather go with Spirit of Inmost Light. You’ll get your grenade back quicker without any problems.
Tonight this build gonne be awesome with succession and anti barrier artifact + new solar rocket side arm with incandescent. + dragons breath as exotic for more ignitions :)

It's funny, I recently was thinking of getting into making build videos, and the first one I was going to make was a fire and ice prismatic warlock I had cooked up, but seems like you beat me to it! Mine has some differences here and there but this one looks like it synergizes quite well and looks fun to play. Cheers!

I love your builds. I created one for Titans that I would like other players to use but I cant show it to the world. The new exotic game a roll where my barricade turns into an ice wall, shoots fire from the front and then I follow it up with a Waved frame sacred flame Ergo sum. If you build it right with ignitions and the prismatic Stasis Fragments and aspects, the explosions are large and powerful like severence + Contact consecration slam build. Along ergo, I use the new fire legendary heavy sword, The ice explosions get a lot of darkness. The swords all fill the light side. Constant Transcendence, constant super and spamming the class ability with Utility kickstart. Please 🙏 look into this and show the world the power of Ice and fire ignitions.

First time I beat you to a build 😅... Running this since last week because the arc buddy build wasn't cutting it in GMs having the turret just drop where I'm standing.

Build definitely looks interesting, not sure if it tops your matiodoxia build though, that one clears all content
Yes Hunters have most choice for builds, but outside of raid dps with still hunt. Warlocks are just the strongest class. Hellion is the premium gunpowder gamble and you dont need to secure kills at all. Spawn it in and just ignite everything.
Not to mention nova bomb with star eaters out damages celestial by a lot. Song of flame is just a nuts roaming super.
Having said that, you could give all classes a roaming support super that focuses on different aspects of support.
I'd love to see a build from you that uses Euphony. There's tons of guides on how to build into it for DPS, but really no advice for using it for general nightfalls and the like. I got it to drop, but it's tough to find an excuse for me to build it for DPS cause the DPS is less than just holding right trigger with a BnS GL lol, so I feel like other builds may be the play

Would you ever be open to making build videos focusing on raids/dps/dungeon scenarios? I feel like I really don’t have a “go to” raid build for warlocks right now. There’s a lot of general content builds like getaway artist arc buddy but idk if that’s the best for a Witness fight for example
very similar to a build i've been using the past week since getting a osmio/star eaters class item.
incinerator snap and monte carlo with this build work wonders for low level content. arcane needle and outbreak would definitely be more worth for high level tho
Bleak watcher and buried bloodline seem like a strong option too

Interesting build - I"m currently running the Getaway artist with arc buddy and bleak watcher. Will all of the freezes and constant availability of my grenade/arc buddy, how does this stack up to that?
I understand you're throwing scorches into the mix, but it kinda feels like the CC is better than extra AOE in higher end content? Maybe the patch is legitimately making the AOE so good that it deprecates the freezing?

Dawn chorus doesn’t increase ignition damage does it? I thought it only increased scorch damage, which wouldn’t do much if you are igniting all the time

Wouldn't facet of Dawn be better than facet of Dominance? With weakening only being on your prismatic grenade, seems like the uptime would be better as Radiant almost always with three melee charges.

Regular osmiomancy gloves greatly improves the tracking of coldsnap so it is much better imo
