New Jack was simply living his gimmick. Many of the greats eventually become their gimmick (or they were already their gimmick depending on your perspective). Granted, New Jack may have went to far inside the ring a few times. But, I only ask that people keep the same energy with other wrestlers who have dirt on their names.
I will keep it brief, but you had wrestlers who molested children (allegedly) such as Jerry Lawler and Grizzly Smith . You also have Sgt. Slaughter who has been stealing Valor for several decades. Lastly, Jimmy Snuka allegedly murdered a Woman.

That reconciliation with New Jack is the only time I've seen Cornette smiling and laughing at something that wasn't someone else's misfortune.
Vice has done real good job getting the clips and interviewing the right people. I was impressed and sadden with the Benoit special and after hearing last week from solomonster that they got Owen widow to interview I honestly can't wait for that season finale.

Anyone that is a fan of New Jack and only knows him from ECW u gotta go check out his year in Smoky Mountain Wrestling. No balcony dives or F bombs but a shit load of Raw talent and u get to see him work with legends like the Rock and Roll Express, Tracy Smothers and The Undertaker.
I wonder why Eric Kulas' father would allow his kid to work in the ring with a dangerous blood thirsty psychopath in New Jack. I can't blame Jack on this because the kid new what he got himself into and how irresponsible his father was in allowing his son to get brutalize.

I'd say throwing a guy from that height is a substantial step towards killing a guy (pardon the legalese; I'm a prosecutor), and he said that his intent was to kill Grimes.
I'd be very surprised if there's a statute of limitations on attempted murder in California where the incident took place. So New Jack may have opened himself up to prosecution by saying what he said.
