I have a short scale that I switched to Uke tuning and the best thing I found for it was the Rhino amp sim on IOS then output to an amp or portable speaker. Amazing tone!! Only problem is that it requires an irig or similar device also not very good due to latency in the way android processes audio signal has to be iPhone or IPad.

    I think this was ok
But you missed the whole point.
Don't compare products that are double the price.
    Laney and Blackstar are competitive.
If you going to throw in the BK , which is double the price, then best bring in some Vox amps that will blow them all away.
Anyway , the Blackstar kills the Laney.
So that's the conclusion of this video, BK should be compared to Vox, Yamaha, Fender equivalents, and I would probably still buy the BS anyway .
And as for looks, buy a guitar for looks , not an amp.
