That's what all the mk1 owners say, who are trying to cope with the arrival of the mk2. The mk2 is superior in every way. This has also been seriously pointed out during the pistonheads snow review in Finland, where the rear diff no longer disengages under braking. It was also mentioned about the mk1 in 'will it rally?' and briefly alluded to at 7:07.

Not very sure on that break and fix process of Toyota - the power steering fails on fast driving - complained Toyota but they do nothing for it.
