I'm convinced, Malaysians are the most LOVELY people on Earth.
Being a Japanese, learning Malay and English at the same time must be hard for you guys. Anyways, Selamat Hari Raya. I'm sure you guys will be mastering both in no time.
Hello Nobu and friends! Didnât expect our family make it to the thumbnail and thatâs only part of our family đ€Ł. Anyways, May this raya is enjoyable for you to celebrate đ. Selamat Hari Raya đ
Next time pls la ajak dia org mkn sikit & not just ajak bergambar mcm tu. Apa daaaaa

Kak Aida can be the ambassador for Kampung Baru already! If not, Malaysia ambassador!
Wow, Kak Aida and family have been hosting the gang of Japanese CZcamsrs đ
Aku sangat2x salute dengan keluarga ka aidađđđđ

The uncle who explained how a ketupat is made was super gentle with it.
When you guys stand and wave at peoples in cars and motorbike, it was such a cute interaction. Malaysian hospitality is no joke. Everyone seems so friendly and welcoming. Great that you guys have a nice time here :)
i wish u guys can experience "real kampung" someday
Ikr!! With real kampung vibe đđđ
If they are nicer maybe a good family will invite them. Right now they makin ngada ngada dan kadang kala tak sopan, kouji lebih jujur, baik dan sopan santun.
Well that's my opinion, having fun at the expense of sopan santun and adat istiadat
is not my cup of tea. Its our responsibility to teach other cultures to our cultures expectations, they are still young, so can get carried away at times, janganlah awak jadi umat akhir zaman yang segala foreigner nak buat sesuka hati and its OK to you... Jangan sampaikan Allah marahi kita dan lemparkan balak kepada masyarakt kita. Don't lower our standards for sake of popularity.
@@nurafini8279 Saya tak nak buang masa getting into argument with you, its obvious you masih permikiran kurang matang agaknya.
Plan another trip to other state like in Johor, Penang, Kelantan, Terengganu... u will see and experienced difference situation, probably more traditional, very localised, more kueh.. and many more and more and more exciting sites
Maybe there is no invitation yet from anyone.
Agreed.. Got to move to other places to experience different cultures, food etc
Euu not Terengganu, been there people so rude⊠but sure since theyâre foreigners i guess they will get different treatment. Perlis by far the best and their people so friendly

I just want to say that if u meet only one to four people don't assume that place it's bad . It's just yr bad experience and not that place is bad.
SALUTE to Kak Aida n Family... Selamat Hari Raya NobuShunPoko.. U guys look so HENSEM in baju melayu...
let me just tell you guys on hari raya everybody left KL empty! sooo I feel bad that you guys couldn't celebrate in other states, its sooo much fun and chaotic in real kampung life!!
Putting everything aside, its amazing that you came all the way from Japan and manage to experience a lot of things here with local people, even experiencing puasa and hari raya in Malaysia which is different if you conduct it in Japan because of the difference in culture, nevertheless, it seems like your trip here is smooth sailing and im glad for you.. 11:28 That 'sarsi' drink is a type of soft drink made from the vine of sarsaparilla (a type of plant). You can find a lot of them in in the supermarket or convenient stores and even the carbonated version of it.
let me clarify one thing here about 'visiting neighborhood houses during hari raya'. it's not that you cannot go and visit their houses, if you guys are like local and know the people around in the neighborhood ofc you can visit their houses, but since you don't really know them and plus you as an adult that is why you cannot enter their houses. But usually only kids for about 4-7(age
) will go and visit neighborhood houses one by one and collecting 'duit raya' and for adults and above they'll usually go to their relative's houses or family members or even friends . it is a tradition in malaysia that poeple will visit each other's houses during raya.
Nobu,Shun & Poko
Mereka yang di temui tak ajak anda masuk beraya & makan kerana itu bukan rumah mereka.
Itu rumah mereka pegi beraya.
Kalau rumah mereka sendiri, mereka dah ajak anda bertiga masuk rumah makan2 & beraya.
exactly.. those you met along the streets.. they also like you giys who went "hari raya" to other people's house.. they cannot invite you since it is not their house.
Correction : Actually you can go to any house if their door is open because most of us welcoming people and we call it as "OPEN HOUSE" or in Malay, RUMAH TERBUKA. So basically all people are invited.
Maybe it is slightly different in KL since people would be more berhati-hati since there are less people? I think Amir-san was probably just being cautious not to offend other houses if he tell them the wrong thing huhuhu
ermm..its only applies to kids and children. for an adult and furthermore a stranger for just to barge in people's house uninvited nowadays will be a little scary..
Then he should explain on both sides. Yeah maybe in KL the culture a little bit different maybe because safety reason. But basically OPEN HOUSE on Hari Raya, everyone is invited. At least in my home town in Terengganu.

Noo... children yes.. neighbours yes... relatives yes.. but not strangers.. just like us.. we dont simply visit any house right.

@@NobuShunPoko so is everything open in Japan on 31st January New Years eve and New Years day? I remember New Year in Japan is boring (no fireworks allowed), quiet...very sad đ
semat tho rambut rayaa..(raya hair so handsome!!)
the right way to do it
1. see a house with open door
2. greetings, smile, and ask for permission to enter (normally they would let u enter)
3. if not, just say Selamat Hari Raya, smile and go to the next house and repeat the same process.
these tips would be easy to practice in rural area than in a big city like KL, and much more easier if u already know the person or the family..
Yeah, this is the correct way, the first dude in the video was wrong saying that they shouldn't come to open house without invitation, i mean yes he is correct is some way but phrase it wrongly, the purpose of Aidilfitri is to celebrate it with everyone, not only friends and families.
Normally in kampung we celebrate with neighborhood as we already known each other. We don't really celebrate to other people house without invitation and it seems akward unless you are group of kids going around to other neighborhood and it might be another story.
@@syafiqsahap2012 this one i agree...
We are having the party in the house....amongst family and friends...its not really a street celebration....but some neighbourhood do have a comunity raya 'party' but mostly it is more on family celebrations for the first few days of raya...then we invite friends and colleagues to join the celebration at home later but rarely on the 1st or 2nd day raya..
KL is a main city in malaysia. During hari raya, most people will go back to their hometown. There are also a few ppl whose hometown in KL.
For your information, there are 13 states in malaysia and malaysia is actually quite big, itâs just that in the world map, it looks small because of how itâs drawn but if you compare the size of UK and Malaysia, Malaysia is actually 1.4 times bigger than UK.
So if you really want to experience Raya, you should go to kampung/rural areas
I don't think that's accurate is it? Abt UK and Malaysia?
@@nurulsolehah6801 It is accurate. That's a fact that most people dont know. But only the sizes lah if about economy, the GDP, we're still behind lol.
I just want to highlight that not all malaysians staying in KL.
@@deeynaishere woaaw, i just checked it. You are rightđł...I still can't comprehend that, right now.
To be fair, 2/3 of the Area is Sabah & Sarawak with about 15% Malay Ethnicity.
Nobushun.. donât forget to go to Prime Ministerâs open house this Sunday in putrajaya.
Nobu should make videos with ichang and her husband jimmy from iChang RM. Since they both are Japanese, it would be easier for you guys to communicate with each other đ

Happy to see you guys can celebrate hari raya!! Congrats for successfully fasting in Ramadan!! Lots of love from Terengganu
Amazing how the bond and connection grew in between the japanese boys and kak aida's family.. It's all started with Kaz in KL gate crashing house for home cooked meal and the rest is history.. Hospitality at it best! Anyway selamat hari raya to all of you boys..
Next year, jom raya di Kelantan, a lot of people there when raya
Only children have the priviledge to enter any open house (literally any house) to "beraya" and collect monetary gift. House visit opens roughly for the whole syawal month but usually lasted for 3 to 7 days.
We believe visitor brings in good fortune aka berkat.
One can also enjoy "hari raya" special dish.
hari raya is a family celebration, the first day of raya should be the most exiting day, but still we celebrate hari raya the whole month
Nobu was served the drink called "Sarsi" in local Malaysian language. It is ROOT BEER in English, the famous drink at A&W Fast Food chain.
Selamat Hari Raya đ Nobu Shun Poko. You guys should come to KEDAH too. Here you guys can find roti canai and nasi lemak everywhere. âșïž
I don't know KL is that empty during Raya season. I live in pahang and in a village area so it's always pack with people. And usually, in Hari Raya, if the house gate is open you can enter and greet the house owner and say, we come for Raya or kami dtg nak Raya. We welcome them with open hearted even if it's a stranger. Hari Raya is like a day where you open new connection with other people. So next time they come again, they already know who is who. But sometimes makcik2 will ask in detail, like where do you come from, your age, whose family you belong and so on. You get tired so easily with only visited one house. It's not a negative thing actually. It's proof that they want to you better and next time if you have some problem or issues, they know where you live to help you. That's neighborhood community. That's usually how we celebrate Hari Raya. That's why we are so panic when we know Raya is one day early. Because we want to give a heartfelt welcome to people that will come visited our house. There's a saying, "Tetamu datang membawa rezeki". So we need to give the guest a good hospitality. It shows good manner both as a person and as a community. If there is a chance, maybe you can experience Hari Raya in a village town next time. But for now Selamat Hari Raya Nobu, Poko and Shun.
Asal diorng nampak Tua wehhh bila dah color rambut..haha,Aku suka lagi masa rambut diorng hitam
Congratulation to all of you! Selamat hari raya Aidilfitri .. â€đ„°

did you know that we are celebrating Hari Raya till one month..? usually in our religion the celebration of our Hari Raya is only first day..but since to extend the happiness of hari raya to visit family & friends..we celebrate till one month..

For your information There have a lots of type of rendang for different state ... each state have their own special type of rendang ..there have black, red, yellow and green rendang...in so interesting to eat....but the most common is Rendang with Chicken then beef...or the rare one with Rendang lamb, shells or with Rabbit beef...
If you're still a kid. Then, yes. You can just enter any house during Hari Raya. Haha.
Salah tempat dan waktu,.bulan puasa mungkin bole kat bandar,.tapi kalau nk tengok suasana sy yg sebenar kena masuk ke kampung,.baru nmpak suasana yg meriah,.kalau awal2 raya kat tengah bandar, semua balik kampung..tapi lepas seminggu,. Semua dah balik ke bandar,..đ
(Tip) Before eating and drinking You are supposed to say {Bismillah} before eating and drinking â€ïž
the children will go to any house in their area while the adults mostly only go to the house that they know each other. even not invited. that will be "surprise" visit.
Haaa betul tu
Surprise visit but after calling first just to make sure they are at home..
Selamat hari raya guysâ€ïžand happy 100k subscriber too
During hari raya, usually we r not surprise if there has group of kids come to our house even they live at other neighbourhood. Adult people never go raya at stranger house except their friends/relative, kids enjoy raya from house to house to eat biskut raya beside collecting some duit raya.đit already normalize in our culture.

OMG, you guys looks so good in Baju Melayu. Handsome bangat sih.
during early hari raya day, almost every places in KL is quiet and less people since most of muslim people are celebrating at our hometown in specific state so thats why u'll see fewer people around kampung baru, but later on maybe the next week will be crowded back as usual in KL, so a lot of people gonna invites or doing "open house" in KL after came back from hometown.
