- This is a tool-assisted speedrun (TAS). Played on SwareJonge's Dolphin 5.0 LUA Core v3.5.2. Tools used: slow-down, savestates, frame advance, TAS input, TAS code, and RAM watch (info display).

Same. The maze part was evil in this video, but as with all tool assisted speedruns, it made the hard part look easy.
Challenge courses like this would be great for the TAS competition!

Tool Assisted Speedrun, it's like a theoretically perfect speedrun with perfect inputs done by a machine so to speak

Assuming you know what a TAS is, I'm guessing the "TAS version" of the track requires inputs that are physically impossible for a human to perform in real-time. Possible examples include: alternating button presses and releases every frame; pressing on the D-PAD up+down/left+right simultaneously; or moving the joy-stick to precise angles quickly without any way to "line things up".
