If you and your team fought tooth and nail to retain the integrity of your show the way it is rather than turning it into another shows filled with trivial conversations with Gossip's front page celebrities to attract a larger audience, I bow to you in respect.
Absolutely Amazing. Thank you for your service. And to Colbert for having people like him on the show.
TRUE AMERICAN HERO - this country is lucky to call him one of ours. Semper fi.
To US Army Captain Florent Groberg, Thank you for your service and sacrifice.
Thank you so much for this interview Stephen!!!
Glad your made it back sir, and thanks brother
Great man. He has skill+balls+humility. The captain is a credit to our military.
Thank you for your service sir.
I'm always amazed that these humble heroes seems more apprehensive about going on TV than doing what they do so EXTREMELY well. God them all of our service heroes
Mr Colbert, thank you for recognizing our country's finest.
I've been binge watching these interviews and I'm not one to cry often but I've teared up at every interview. Listening to these stories you can really picture what it was like for them. God bless this man and every soldier who puts their life on the line for us. 🇺🇸 Also did he get a purple heart? I didn't see it on his uniform.
I feel sure that it was not overlooked. No doubts here.
This interview made me tear up. This is incredibly heart wrenching.......
The look in his eyes during this entire interview are the exact reason that I never joined the service, and why I'm so thankful for those that did.
Respect.
bad ass much love captain.....your earned it
What a hero!!! And what a wonderful use of a media platform! Bravo!
Bless this man. Would like to thank all who's served & continues to serve.
He looks like he's going to cry the whole time, but it's a different kind of look... It screams so many things at once.
Yeah I noticed that
I see that too man...
Excellent captain...4th ID....I was 1-22 4th ID alpha company....was wounded in combat May 23 2006.... steadfast and Loyal....deeds not words
Incredible young gentleman so much respect earned 👏🏻
Sir, you are an honorable man. You did this country proud. RIP to your brothers, and bless their families.
This young man exemplifies why America will NEVER be 2nd best.
“Caitlyn Jenner” is not a hero this man is. Hero should not be wasted
It's the most over used word in our society. It should be reserved for men like this.
You realise you can be a hero for many different reasons ffs?
30secondstomarsMBH you can be a hero for acting heroically. Jumping into a dangerous or deadly situation to save another makes someone a hero. Injecting estrogen into your ass doesnt
Caitlyn Jenner is not a hero. People who take incessant abuse and still stay true to their identity no matter what people say, and champion themselves are heroes because they actually actually hold themselves to the standard of a Medal of Honor recipient.
Thank you so much for all that you live for.
I have the feeling that he could burst in Tears every Moment, feel so bad for what he had been through, very glad that hes still alive.
did you ever notice this, they're generally very modest and soft spoken and you can tell that they're well liked.
Both these men are patriots.
@@lintottish It's patriotic to inform people, to expose lies, while it's unpatriotic to obstruct justice. Stephen Colbert also went to Afghanistan himself and did more for the American troops than many politicians who only claim that they love the troops for their votes and do nothing for them.
@@lintottish Yes. Inform yourself on the facts of something before exposing the world to your stupidity. It's better for people to think you an idiot than for you to open your mouth and prove it.
This is so emotional. What a real man/hero. 👏👏👏
Thank you for your SERVICE. 🇨🇦🇺🇸🌍👊🙏💥❤🖖😀
I hope I manage to be even half the man Cpt Groberg is.
HERO!
What a good fuc*ing guy man.... you know how you can just read people sometimes?? One conversation with them and you just know they're solid thru and thru?? This guy is one of those people.... Genuine, kind, and extremely gracious and humble.... I truly hope he lives a blessed life from here on out.... :))))
Pretty powerful stuff! I hope we all learn a thing or two from his bravery.
I honestly cried
You can see the pain in his eyes
But YOUR handle also caused pain. Why would you say 'fuck God' when it's both divisive and so offensive to so many? Peace brother. Allahu akbar. (From a Christian businessman, ex army vet, and now senior). Check out what it really means..... so you needn't be offended. Guess you have few Jewish, or Muslim friends .
What a grand example of a human being. Truly inspiring!
I personally knew CSM Griffin, he was an absolute great Soldier, Leader, father, husband and American!!!! I will never forget that day as long as I live...Kevin, I think about you daily brother!!!!Flo, thanks for all you did in order to save many more troops that fateful day!!!
What did he say in French? Can someone translate?
+Fleur Inoue In rough translation: What happened in France upset me very much, because I was raised in France and my heart will always be French, so I will tell you: Stay strong, you're in my heart, and I love you.
Thank you!
+corhydron111 Thank you. Colbert should have had asked him to say it again in English on-air.
+Paelorian Yeah, what kind of American would just talk French that's just meant for the French without it being translated? Captain MURICA would have just speak in MURICAN AND THAT'S HOW WE DO IT YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWW!
madmax21st Stupid comment. I'm glad he delivered his message to France in French. It's just that it would have been nice if the rest of the audience (most of whom are not French-speaking) could also hear a translation of the message afterward so that we could appreciate and applaud it. Obviously we're all curious.
This guy can be famous movie star
God bless you Captain. Keep being a good man.
These men bring tears to my eyes every time. USN (ret) 1965-87 💕🕵🏼♀️🇺🇸
Frank Castle? is that you?
Munir Kilic Same reaction but more badass than Frank
true dat
who said that?!
Hero
Right? The hair, nose jaw line, so similar. If he were younger that is...
Hooah brother.
