Peter, if you ever see this, can I just say that I have revisited every season of Spooks during the 2020 lockdown. And that I think Harry Pearce was the finest character the BBC has ever produced. Thank you.
I remember Peter came to our school youth club once in Pudsey, I just stood there with my mouth open, thinking how lovely he was. I was 14/15. I used to watch him on TV in the Flaxton Boys. He grew to be a brilliant actor. I loved him in spooks. He just seemed to be so natural in that roll.
I think Peter is a very talented actor. I remember back when he was an up and coming actor during the 1970s. For him, stardom didn't really materialize but for all I know, maybe he never wanted it. I still remember his electrifying performance in Equus in the film version. I heard that he was even better in the stage version.

Peter Firth is a fabulous actor. I love him as Harry in Spooks- understated sensual heart throb that he is!!
