Just finished installing this on my hyundai. It was a little difficult to get to the wires behind the push button start. Besides that its a perfect application. Works beautifully and most importantly YOU ONLY NEED ONE KEY FOB!. Thats huge to me. Thank you guys at MyKey
Thank you Anthony, hope you will use it for a long time.
Cheers
I just installed this remote start on my 2011 Sonata and it works great. I like the auto lock feature, it's nice that you can park your car and just walk away and it will lock. Super nice that you don't have to do any extra steps to lock the car. Also love that I don't need an extra key fob to carry like most systems require. Install was easy 20min total I did take the plastic trim under the steering wheel off like in the video and also the under that the stainless steel support bracket. It was only 4 screws and one nut that made it easier to fit bigger hand up to the start/stop button. Hope this helps others.
just ordered today, is there alot of places to put that big housing unit underneath the passenger area?
Hi, installed this today. Works perfect but was wondering if the amber turn signal lights should blink every 5-8 seconds? Stays started and locked but both front and back amber turn lights blink for a second and does this every 5-8 seconds?
It is totally normal that is blinking every few seconds. Its letting you know that the car is on via remote start.
you should i have showed how u remove the push button conector.
wondering that now
It’s not bad once you get passed the push button start clip then the rest is cake definitely works good !!!!
I had a hell of a time getting to the push button wire. How did you go about it?
great. just ordered mine, any tips lol
@@chrisfaustomaha take the radio out to get behind the push button. Trust me.
@@brosetoldyou4831 haha once i do that is it easy or just better then blindly trying to find it using my hand under steering wheel
@@chrisfaustomaha very easy after doing so.
Any easy way to remove the start stop connector? I couldn’t find anything online and it’s super weird. I’ve zero experience and don’t want to remove the dash only to find out I can’t put it back together.
Will this work on the 2012 Azera since they are basically the same car?
Hello, it could be great if it could has the auto windows down/up, I like it to much because you don't need to make any cut on the harness.
+
Does this have the proximity sensor like the mykey premium for the 2015-2017 models ??
Why do you need the extension on the push button wire? I am not understanding why that is needed if the device is connected on passenger side.
I put in my daughter's 2011 and it works great! Only issue I am having is with my passenger tail light. I have changed bulbs(they didn't burn out I found out later) I changed the bulb socket and the whole 4 bulb harness and still have same exact issue. When lights come on for the first time after not being on for a few hours, the one taillight goes off after about 3 minutes. Then if I switch lights on and off after that, it only lights for a second or two. I wriggle wires and no flicker or anything. Bulb not blowing and works on drivers side no issue. All this started after putting auto start in. Any ideas on what to do?
Get new taillights. It’s a problem with that generations tails. It will burn out any halogen you put in that housing. Idk if LEDS will fix the problem bc the housing harness is what’s burning the bulb but I got aftermarket taillights (VLAND) and haven’t had the issue since. Almost 2 years now.
Nice bro I’m interested in this ...do you know if this has options for automatic shut off when your car is warmed up..like after 10 mins ..
sure, it is automatically shut down after 10-15 minutes. also you can switch on/off auto door locker. cheers
Peace be upon you. I contacted you via email but no one responded. I would like a link to purchase a remote start product compatible with a 2013 Hyundai Sonata that has the original push button start in the Middle East.
lease contact us again at support@mykeypremium.com, and we'll make sure your request is taken care of promptly. We're here to assist you with finding the perfect remote start product for your 2013 Hyundai Sonata
@@MykeyPremium I contacted you via email and purchased from your site. I am waiting for it to arrive and try the product. Thank you for the effort 🌼
Do these work for the hybrid (I have the 2012 hybrid one)?
it should actually work, but we did not tested it enough in hybrid models
They sent me the wrong kit. Had the wrong wiring harness and dip switch settings. Had to wait an additional week for the right harness to arrive and then discover the pdf instructions on the website have the wrong dip switch settings. Pause the video and look at the switches if it's not working for you after install. If it was wrong then unplug the box and plug it back in after changing the switches.
Perfect 👍👍👍
Blerton Kuka yes
How is it going so far? Any issues?
@@mohammadnsr2821 I just finished installing it on my car. Seems to have worked well. Im curious as to how much power it draws. Besides that, its a perfect product and I don't have to have 2 key fobs. Thats huge
Starts my car when key fob buttons are not pressed shortly after locking car. Just pulled system out. Not happy at all.
Are you going to make a video for the Kia Optima ?
we already done. will upload it today
I guess it's obvious but it's not 09 to 14 it's 11 to 14. 09 and 10 are previous generation Sonata. If it's possible it should be easier because the lock cylinder is on the dash
Video title says 2009 to 2014, but the guy in video says 2011 to 2014, so my question is does it work on a 2009 sonata?
It probably does unfortunately the installation process is loosely based on the model
I got a (kia)forte and they sent me this video which is way off since
My key start module was in the trunk and they don't mention the name of what you are plugging into
Also they sent me the wrong cables but it still doesn't work with the right cables, my advice stay away
How does this affect the key being required in the car to drive? Could someone get in it and drive off it it’s unlocked?
Does this interfere with the antitheft system?
What’s the range on this?
Te what button twice? At the end of the video
to activate remote start - you need to press double time on lock button (with interval)
Does anyone know if the cable on the back of the button have a clip ? Or can you just pull on it
Will have a clip
Is it work on azera 2014
hi, yes if you mean Azera HG
When the car is auto started does it automatically lock the doors or does it stay open?
of course it's locked( for safety reasons )
Onde consigo compra? Vc tem o link para compra?
www.mykeypremium.com
Has anyone installed this on a hybrid with success?
it works with hybrid models
I tried mines and it does not work it locks when I walk away but it doesn’t start
For this year Sonata. Auto locker was not intended by Hyundai Factory. Since our system operates by factory frequency. You can switch off this function by (get inside - close doors - keep pressing brake - press 2x lock with interval)
Thanks
I actually want this for the winter just to have my car started and warmed up.
Instead of me having to seat in it in. In the cold. I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata
Will it turn on the defroster
It wont, but once your engine/interior is warmed up, it will take no time to clear up your windshield.
Hi bro, how much it cost?
hi Walter, you can check it on our website, tap the link: www.mykeypremium.com
Am I the only person who can't find the wire to the button? I received no info on how to find it and even while trying to reach around for it, I dont think im feeling the right one as they're completely black wires or too skinny or too thick
Please reach out to our technical team at support@mykeypremium.com, we would love to help you out with your installation.
i am having hard time locating push button connector
Same here hands won’t fit not simple like he claims
It's expensive than others
than which one ?
This is the ONLY one on the market that is compatible with the Hyundai Sonata with push button start and proximity key!
@@rggr325 which makes it worth it!
Def not “easy” to pull the button cable. My hands won’t fit in there any kind of way. Looks like I’ll be pulling everything apart. Stand by.
If you take the stainless steel support bracket under the plastic trim off it makes it easier to get you hand up there. It is 4 screws and one nut to take it off. Super easy! Good luck
@@andrewjurss8403 hey, I ended up having the take the radio and console out. Hands were way too big.
very expensive mate
$426 ....too expensive
Not very good at explaining where the wires are located, not worth the risk of ruining my car, I’m going to just take it by a shop not to happy with the fact that I couldn’t find any raw footage of doing it.
Better explained, I’m not trying to rip my wires out of place and short circuit something and since he doesent show much of the actual work I don’t really know what I’m looking for, as all the wires are tucked away usually.
he literally points and shows on camera where they go and located???? smh
@Chris Faust he shows nothing for the push to start button. He cuts to having the wires already out and doesn't show them getting reconnected. That's the point the other user is making. I as well can't find the wires and now i feel like i wasted my time on this as there is no info on how to find the correct wire. "Dig underneath and feel around for it", yea helpful when there are brackets and tons of other wires 🤦♂️
@@Jcohen65 the way I "found" the wires was remove the stero and then you can see the wires connected to the button. It's tight also but you stick hand in and remove connection and then install the new one and then connect it again. Other way would be to stick hand underneath steering wheel and blindly feel around for wire behind button and remove it and then blindly try and plug new wire back into the push button. Removing stero was easiest for me.
Сколько стоит?
