    We built this van aiming to create a homely space with the area we had. We didn't want to compromise on functionality or comfort. The last thing you want to do after a big day hiking is to have to make your bed every night with foam cushions, so we built a proper sprung mattress bed for comfort but also it's much cooler.
    We also wanted a decent kitchen so we built it out the back with maximum storage.
    The van is equipped with 260W Solar panels linked to a Goal Zero Yeti 1400. It has 25L of filtered freshwater storage and an almost silent 55l Dometic fridge/freezer. For our vent we chose the MaxxFan Deluxe as it's the most functional and quietest fan on the market.

    My partner and I just bought a '95 Hiace and your video has been a great source of inspiration. Especially your water system with built-in filtration!

    Hi guys love this build and definitely some inspo for our hiace build. What kind of pump did you use for your water system and where did you pick up the hand trigger for it?

    • @WanderingandWilderness
      @WanderingandWilderness  Před 3 lety

      It's just a standard 12v ShurFlo pump. ShurFlo is a good brand. The hand trigger is actually just a tap bung. Same as your have on an urn or 10l jug.
      We are about to build a new van which will have some insane ideas so follow us and check out wanderingandwilderness.com

    just wondering where you got the hose from

    • @WanderingandWilderness
      @WanderingandWilderness  Před 3 lety +1

      Online at caravansplus
      Basically it's just a food grade hose, anything with fresh water should be.
      The hose reel is a Holman's 10m hose reel from Bunnings, the 10m doesn't have a changeable hose so I cut it myself and fit it out.
