This song was written after the bass player, Nikki Sixx, overdosed on heroin and legally died 3 times. Now after years of drug abuse (and dying) he's clean and sober and doing great!
I swear Nikki sixx has died close to the double digits but he slaps bass too hard to really die
More specifically, it’s about Nikki Sixx ODing, going to the hospital and being resuscitated and then leaving the hospital and going back to the party lol
A better song about his overdose is from his band Sixx A.M. - Life is Beautiful
Nikki died 2 times. The first time was in London, his dealer threw him in the trash and that moment was also in a verse in their song “Dancing on Glass”
@@thtswhtshesai6d9 Steven Adler said that his gf at the time gave him mouth to mouth in that same hotel right after he “died”. Paramedics took Sixx and gave him two shots of adrenaline. Walked out of the hospital, got a ride back home from 2 women who were Motley fans and were crying when he first saw them, did heroin again lol. Sixx is a good storyteller but tbh I believe what Adler said
You can see the exact moment when the speeding tickets start getting injected directly into his system
Underrated comment
Your comment was in a meme compilation. That's how I found this song
@@jakubwisniewski1827legit same and now here I am ..9 minutes after you lmao
@@jakubwisniewski1827 which one?
@@Trev0Rear oof I don't remember now. Maybe "GIFs with sound"? Or something like that
“The heart can’t be kickstarted”, oh you just wait
tell that to the ambulance that revived nikki
360 joules of electricity and a syringe full of epinephrine sure can kickstart the heart
This is the comment.
Could be the most accurate comment on CZcams ever 💯🔥🔥🙌🤣🤣😝👌💪
@@evillecee 😂
This song is good for speeding tickets
🤣🤣🤣 no doubt!
You have no idea how right you are
Many lol
A friend of mine is a cop, this song has been guilty a few times for people.
😂😂
This song is not recommended for driving down the highway; it’s too tempting to floor the gas pedal to it
Been there done that, it’s fun with a big block V8…
Oh yes, ended up doing 180 one time on the Highway. Luckily I wasn’t caught speeding.
Oh yeahhhhh
Would request this song on a crazy upside down ride at an amusement park xd
Another good one is I can't drive 65 by Sammy Hagar.
The involuntary head banging and moaning is the most appropriate reaction to this banger I've ever seen. Keep rockin man there's so much good music out there for you to explore!
The face melting expression when the guitar rips at 2:32 🥴 Lmaoo love it
There’s no such thing as a proper way to react to this song it’s simply perfect from start to finish
@@jvoges I’d like to add to your comment but couldn’t sum it up any better than you just did 👊🏻
The song is about Nikki Sixx (the bassist) overdosing and being pronounced dead for 3 minutes. But, the paramedics in the ambulance refused to give up and gave him 2 shots of adrenaline to his heart Savin his life. So they wrote “Kickstart my heart” after that incident.
Found you on TikTok and such and had to come see the full reactions, this rabbit hole you've wondered into is definitely worth it, continue with the rock my brother, we all come from different tribes and creeds but we can all appreciate good music. I salute all my rock brethren so rock on my brothers
Amen my brother 🤘🏻 well said, I salute you
..... and sisters 😉
Rock on my brother!
From the oldest rockers from the 60's and 70's blasting stuff like the rolling stones to the people like me who have only just gotten out of college that have grown up around the music as well. To even the younger kids who are just discovering it. Once you get sucked into the rock rabbit hole you'll never wanna leave ever again.
Wandered into even.
I met the founder/bassist, Nikki Sixx a few years ago. He signed my arm. I went straight to my tattoo artist and now Nikki Sixx's autograph is on me forever!
Bad ass
Wanna sell your arm?
@garyschott9752 lol no way
This on a 1500watt stereo system in a 87 Gran National tuned out to 800hp and 575ft/lbs of torque and you have 290kmh of highway-401 terror. Thank you Quebec highway patrol for being so slow, even OPP. the black knight moves, that was 25 or so years ago.
sounds like a hell of a time
Chills
Your heart was kickstarted and your face was melted. I’d say this was a success!
Their concets are incredible. Back in the day their drummer played the drums upside down.
Tommy passing around Jack to the audience... LOL
Man had no time for commentary, he was just rocking.
Im not into react content, but your first time listening to these songs, actually made me tear up remembering my friends and I as kids hearing this music for the first time and loosing our minds. I never realised how much I really miss my friends and that era. Keep it up big man.
I had this on cassette in my 69 Dodge Charger R/T back when it came out, I still listen to it and I still own that same Charger.
Keep the speeding tickets coming
@@woooshbait5398 heck yeah
God, I like how in the beginning it looked like he was magically forced to headbang to it and he didn't want to
Motley will do that to you
Saw your video on TikTok and had to come watch the full reaction, Motley Crue is one of my favorite bands of all time. Glad you enjoyed it man!
I will never get bored of this song. Ever.
Saw this somewhere else “it’s baffling that black people invented rock music yet completely abandoned it and got into mumble rap” yeah same 😂 I can only image what awesome rock songs were never created bc the whole community switched to rap so early on
never would of known this and i’m black. actually interesting asl
Somewhere else huh? 🙂
He needs to do Living Colour’s Cult of Personality if you want to hear some black guys absolutely slaying a rock song.
Saying black people invented rock is a very broad and generally incorrect statement. Black people invented blues, which in the 50s was picked up by white people and rock as we knew it in the late 50s all the way through now stemmed from the combination of black and white takes on the essentially the same genre. Black "blues" and white "schmaltz" were eventually combined to create "rock n roll". AC/DC released an album in 1977 titled "Let There Be Rock" where the tite song explains this process in the most simple and jamming way
Fart shit?
Your immediate bodily reaction is spot on! This song drives your soul.
This is the reason I watch reactions, its the closest ill get to listening for the first time ever again.
Yes it can with an adrenaline shot to the heart. Interestingly the EMT on the ambulance was Motley Crue fan and went above and aboard to save Nikki Sixx's live. Nikki is now clean and sober for a long time. 🤩😍
Quintessential Rock track right here, certified banger territory
One of the most awesome rock songs ever made.
Motley Crue is my all time favorite band! Love this song! Loved your reaction! I felt like I was back in the 80s headbanging again!
Accurate reaction for the most badass song ever
“Rock, I been living under a rock “ Bro you kill me 😂
That face when the talk box parts hit 😂 love this song & used to jam with my brothers to it when we were kids. Now it has a permanent spot on my workout playlist at about the halfway point, it's like a jolt of electricity right in your veins.
🤘🤘🤘this is my all time favourite drive track.... this gets the full crank on the volume when on the road!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I got goosebumps for this guy! Rock on, brother.
Seeing this live..amazing. u feel the drum beat and guitar rhythm go right through your body and hits every bone and organ on the way through. U can't resist but just go nuts.
Its a banger! I have to watch my speed closely, if i listen to this driving.
That thing your head does to this song is a biological reaction to this song. It cannot be helped.
Very few songs stay on the gas like this one. Freakin classic 👌
Love rock music and stumbled across you just recently. Wow! In today’s world, this most genuine and honest reaction, was so refreshing to see. Glad you enjoyed this epic rock tune as so many of us have and always will. One thing will always hold true, is that we can all appreciate great music, no matter where we come from. Great video my friend, keep on rockin.
35 years later - this still rocks - pushed to 11
Reminds me of the days on the Honda 750S Nighthawk - 65mph in 3rd gear, running knobbies on the back country dirty roads. Never know when speed, traction, grip gonna kick your azz
This was such a wonderful reaction mate…absolutely enjoyed it!
He can feel the traffic violations coursing through his veins

That was fun bro! Rock n Roll 🎸
The sound you hear in the ending little guitar solo is called a Talkbox! Check it out! Its a pretty cool effect for the guitar!🤘
The official video is great too - my favorite song from Crue! They kick ass!! That sound was a TALK BOX - the most famous example is Peter Frampton - Do you feel like we do. It's a JAM check it out!

The KING of reactions!!!
memories 😎👍
[talk box guitar kicks in] "WHA SOUND IS DAAT?"
Received my first set of driving infractions listening to this absolute banger, reckless driving, speeding, too fast for conditions, ....etc.... I have/had no regrets.......
Recorded this album from the LP to a TDK Metal MA90 cassette and blasted it on 3/4 volume on my pioneer component stereo system with graphic equaliser and 4 way speaker system in my old Holden on my way to a crappy job.
I think i found my new favorite reaction youtuber he was feeling it
Watch this reaction everyday 😂 it’s in the top one 🔥🔥🔥
`made me smile...........
Play this when I am lying in a hospital bed in a coma. Will be out the same day.
My favorite part of this song is the vocal box
My friend. Try Painkiller by Judas Priest. If you want your mind to implode that is!
Get this man a six pack of bud heavies and some keys
This song is on me and my buddies crashing playlist. We wrecked a side by side while listening to it
This one is a classic 😎
