But in her new book “Relentless Spirit: The Unconventional Raising of a Champion,” she admits it has been a challenging journey. Her mom, joining Franklin on TODAY, says: “What we did was just be there and listen and let Missy lead the way.”

She's amazing she's been my inspiration I've met her 3 times I've met her mother they are a great family the book is wonderful I have yet to finish it but she has made me enjoy the sport more then you'll ever know she's wonderful I can't wait for her next chapter her parents are the my favorite family.
