Preseason can't get here fast enough. All this hype of how deep the roster is looks good on paper, I want to see it in action to really see what kind of talent we have.
The jenkins smash in the super bowl is my personal favorite hit. Let me be clear, i dont want people getting injures. I dont want injury. But watching that game, the energy, the moment... It was intoxicating.

Love slay but Iâve been saying since we drafted both corners this year we need to shop slay and trade him and start getting all these younger talented corners into the field . We have way too much talent that we can put out there to learn on the curb ,I mean slay got burnt all year long last year playing 12 yards off . Get something of value in the trade and letâs put the future corners out there so we know exactly what we have and donât have to release a bunch of young talent to go out and be solid starters for other teams like we always do
1. It'll cost Eagles over 24Mil in cap space to trade Slay
2. Slay is still our best CB
3. Eagles still have question marks at CB until they actually get playing time in a real NFL game

I have no reason to think the Mitchell or DeJean won't be great. But given the way the NFL goes, I also have no reason to believe the Ringo can't end up being the best of the 3. Draft position doesn't mean anything. Im just stoked to hear they have some options. I do worry about Slay if the team doesnt hit the ground running.

I am really surprised that nobody is picking up on the reality that the best move my be to trade Slay and it seems like that could almost be inevitable. For context, he's not as good as people think he is. He had one amazing INT year, but the rest of his career he's been more like an upper half to upper third of the league CB (although reputation goes a long way with Pro Bowls at that position.) They have three, very strong, young assets at outside corner to build on. Keep all three and get all three on the field a lot this year. Prolong that competition into next year. The fourth outside CB, then, in my opinion, should be MacPhearson (people are illogically high on Ricks, who really is not very good at all.) Finally, they will - I think - keep Hall behind DeJean at nickel, with Maddox moving to safety. Also, for what it is worth, I think their best starting secondary this hear would involve DeJean at SS, Rodgers and Nickel and Mitchell and Ringo outside. That would get their five best assets on the field. I trust Fangio and he obviously has infinite expertise compared to me, but I have this sense that SS might be DeJean's best position.

Trading Hassan wasn't strange at the TIME. An when you made the video I said this.Its chess not checkers. Howie knew he couldn't sign him (because of Smith,AJ deals). Also Reed Blankenship shouldn't be on the team in my opinion. I will put Cooper at safety and don't forget Brown will be coming back soon. So we don't need to make a move on a safety
Reed was our only decent DB last year and is one of the best sure tacklers in the league

Eli ricks is gonna make the 53-man roster. I don't see them cutting him, I can see jobe, McPherson, and Goodrich getting cut before Rick's he's more valuable to the team.
Jobe is a better special teams player which is what you look for in a 7th string CB.... I Love Ricks, but he's a better trade candidate
