Yes and yes. When i was searching this one was the best i found. After there is one more from the same developer that i wanted to try it was called: Tello FPV - Control the Ryze Tello drone FPV (it don't have follow me) but i destroyed my drone...so i didn't try it... 🤔

The app can track a face or a person as it says, but this is a great question man and I didn't even try that. I believe it won't track objects but i can't tell you for sure. If i find time i will make a small test at home and let you know.
One of the biggest issues of this app is that it won't stay focussed on the selected person. If there are other persons nearby, it always switches from one person to another instead of being locked onto the selected person. That's quite annoying 😐

Yes if someone pass in frond of the tracked person it loses and follow that person.
I was saying a bad thing about the ryze tello and I didn’t know the tello drone could follow people
