Every time I hop on the game it’s a different latency.
Lag/latency is the driving factor behind the inconsistent shooting. People think that 2k developers are in there tuning green windows, but the reality of it is ……the servers are trash. Maybe it’s the move to cross platform this year, but the servers are worse than previous 2ks.
Servers are horrible, how you get lag spikes on fiber internet? With 1500mbs? Game is cooked

I had to argue with the support ppl about their servers. They going to tell me it’s my internet. Talking about some bs called hiccups. At the end of the day they sent me 35k vc because they know their serves are trash asf

Ill say this with all that has happened within 2k24 .. from Vc prices to lack of transparency to unethical practices; whether or not the 2k community are serious about their complaints will be revealed in how much support is dhown at the launch of 2k25
The 2k servers have been the most annoying thing for everyone because we are getting disconnected from the game and that will never change 2k25 is already looking dead to me never again 2k
I made my decision a month after the game released. Im done spending $70+ on a AAA game that needs tons of fixes in order to be good. Games like Helldivers and Palworld are made by smaller companies that create way better games in terms of quality and they cost less than $50. Its a shame how far 2K had fallen
I honestly think the Empire is crumbling. I've personally had no issue with cross-play but the squad-up system is just trash.
Say what you want about NBA Live but there has *never* been a problem playing with your friends. It just works!
Crossplay has been a huge L for every video game. Crossplay has absolutely ruined COD. Between the terrible latency and cheaters i think its time we acknowledge crossplay is terrible for video games in general

Bump steals still exist!! On top of that how realistic is it to get clamped on baseline and your player just falls out of bounds. The 60 overall Ai is a lock in paint vs a 7’ center gets boxed and can’t move it seems to turn into a 99 ov with HOF box and strength
Crossplay is a big let down i keep forgetting its even there

Just nerf steals. I dont understand how blocks are useless but a guard can just reach his way out of getting dunked on by a big like a 🐱. I was 1 assist off a triple double but had a D+ grade because everytime i went into the post they reached on me or 2k forced me into a jumpball (where even when i won it the ball went to the other team THREE TIMES). Stop punishing defense so bums can shine cuz now they building egos off of it

They need to update the Career mode, im done hearing all you online players crying left and right, so they cater to you all and neglect players that want to just play the MyCareer aspect of the game.
Facts!!! mycareer needs a huge update, this year isnt all that bad but an upgrade is definitely needed, my teammates logic is horrible and they dnt pass the ball to one another and u have to at times they ignore u, im on the nets right now Cam thomas should be a beast but instead he dribbles too much and takes contested shots everytime, not to mention his jump-shot is slow af and because of it he gets blocked 80% of the time, shit is frustrating with him on the floor but even if i want him traded the cpu would go out and replace him with someone tht doesnt make sense like kelly olynx 😅 im tired of this shit this is the mode tht made them popular in the first place so they should work hard to make it better then past iterations

Imagine if myCareer becomes a standalone game without the NBA franchise. The game would be 2k MyCareer, no NBA franchise cost, VC price lowered by half or even more, builds can be deleted with 50% VC return, the VC rewards doubled. No more boosts, no more pay to win, the community numbers would rise x10, a lot of players, a lot of fun ! Like this comment make it happen.

Cross play is a complete L!!! The latency between the two consoles completely changes shot timing every single game. You would think that you could simply turn off cross play and just match up with players on whichever console you are using, but NO, 2K programmed it to where you’ll only match up with others that have cross play turned off. It’s mind boggling trying to comprehend the thought process of the devs

My issue is the micro transactions and the inconsistency with the game play as well as the goofy ass rewards
I am a my team player. It’s frustrating and watch them. Take something so simple and make it so complicated and convoluted. We just want daily content. I.e. give us an agenda for the player that led the league and a stat. This person had 20 rebounds 15 years ago. This day gives an agenda for 20 rebounds and gives us a version of that car. that’s a beast on the boards and every day you’ll have content
I don’t get this game, I’ll drop 30 back to back games then there’s that 1 game where I just start missing for no apparent reason losing my confidence on shooting I never had this problem in other 2k games
They don’t want spend the money on better severs these 20 tick severs are some of the worse in online gameing my gaming router shows me the ping and tick when I go in rec or park and it’s very bad and I play on 1000 up fiber i get low ping and way better tick rates in cod and apex I mean any other game and that’s sad 😢

Just trying to bring in some humor, but 2K being having some people feel that exact way. 2K actively ignores the player base. I have no sympathy for their dilemma, which they still seem not to care about. We want CHANGE, but being brought to ashes is most certainly a change. 😅😂
I mean in comparison when the ps4 first came out 2k launched 2k14, 2k15, and 2k16 by far some of the best games in the franchise. But I just want the game to be fun again and have that simulation basketball feel to it and that balance of fun and arcade and just have it be a fun game to play. I think a major reason why the game isn’t fun is also the community itself, the community has become a nightmare in recent years as well but that’s just my opinion, but the game itself has also declined a lot to so idk what 2k can really do in all honesty. The servers have always been an issue though.

Helldivers gave me a good break from 2k.. played one Rec game won ...and ...just turned it off.. it is literally NOTHING truly fun about playing this game offline (except Myeras because i can fix sliders) online.. is literally unplayable for more than two games..even when you win its just feels excessively BORING..none of squadmates from last year play anymore.. we definitely need a new game to drop.. 2k unless they do a clean wipe and start fresh (which they wont) this game will stay buttcheeks..

@@DanC2352 2K changed their TOS on a game that is dependent on microtransactions. This goes against PS TOS and makes you eligible for refund if you speak with customer support.

I’ve never seen a video game based of an actual sporting organisation be so different from the LIVE SPORT itself. They need to lose the NBA Contract and it’s about time NBA seek a new development team that will be back the fundamentals of VIDEO GAMING rather then the fat Wallet it comes with. I'm having fun playing last Gen, didnt spend a lot of money. It is pretty much a copy paste of next Gen 2k23 with minor fixes that make it better than 23 to be frank. I knew next Gen would be a disaster with that cross play, all anyone ever said was "you play last Gen lol upgrade already bum" but now you guys are not having fun and I am still having a blast and barely spent any money. Ps5 version of the game wont he good until it is the only version they make, tried to tell people this 😅

time to delete 2K. I just got rid of it, explore some other games that you’ll really have fun.
