  • Hello friends. Welcome back to your channel Simplify Your Space. Some time back, I made a video on Demo and Review of my LG dishwasher. It’s been 6 months now; we have been using a dishwasher without any major issues. There is a whole range of myths and questions surrounding dishwashers, especially when it comes to stains that come from Indian way of cooking, masalas and oils. Indian kitchens have different needs and in today’s video I will talk about a few misconceptions that surround a Dishwasher. So, if you are planning to buy a dishwasher, this video may help you making the right decision.
    Enjoy watching the video!

    Hello, I have dishwasher since 1994. Its very helpful. I personally don't like the maids as I am concerned about their hygiene and way of work. Plus the delicate crockery they usually break or damage. I have never kept any maid ever. I am all machine dependent. Yes dishwasher has some tips for the sparkling clean dishes. I pre wash my utensils manually so that there is no left over food particle that can clog my machine. I regularly check for the filter and pour the rinse aid, salt etc. Once a month I do descaling of the machine. No worry of germs or hygiene quality issues with machine. In long run the machine outperform in comparison to maid.

    Been using a dishwasher for last 14 years. Had to replace my earlier one as it got old and repair was expensive. Beautiful explained how convenient and easy it is to use the machine. The dishes come out super clean, germ free as they get cleaned with high intensity of heat. Care has to be taken as to how and what you load.
    Have tried various soap brands and rinse aids . Came across these pods(all in one ) by a brand called FAIRY . Vessels , glassware sparkle.
    Don’t forget to clean the dishwasher at lest once a month by running it empty on a short cycle with just baking soda and vinegar, regularly cleaning the mesh at the bottom. Few steps and the machine will sever you for years.

    I have used Bosch Dishwasher for 2.5 years. Yes it is good for dishes and I was overwhelmed the way it washed but dishwasher detergent etc are far more expensive. Moreover there are no expert after sales service all over India as I have seen people complaining on the internet. My dishwasher stopped working after 2 and half years and no one could repair it and the worst after sales service is Bosch. I don't mean to discourage anyone but I will re buy dishwasher only when services are available locally. LG is better.👍

    Dishwasher is a lifesaver. Got rid of daily maid drama once and for all. Have been using LG since 2019 August. No complaints with dish cleaning but my dishwasher broke down 2 times in a span of 2 years. Time plus money consuming so I got a new one last week. Same old LG just in a different colour this time. Hope this machine lasts me 4 to 5 years atleast.

    Despite using LG dishwasher for more than 1 year and praising LG on every forum, I had to return my Dishwasher because power outage was playing havoc on dishwashing. As LG could not correct the software, they offered me a new dishwasher as replacement but it would have been of no use for me as power outage is a regular feature, I politely declined the offer. I have a bosch dishwasher since 2016. Since I have maid who does manual washing, I use it , when she takes leaves . It was a blessing in lockdown. Dishwasher detergents are not freely available in our local market. During lockdown they were out of stock online for a long time. They will not even wash our iron and NON stick cook wares... chakla belan etc.. for controlled , limited use it's very good . For big family it is not practical. Bosch has a poor service and high maintenance products. I have 3 Bosch products...You will shed tears getting service and parts. Electricity consumption is noteworthy. 2-3k per month. It doesnt have a heavy motor but it has an inbuilt water heater which consumes electricity. It's a luxury product .. not a substitute for a maid. Maid will clean your sink, tiles.. mop your floor and your cooktop too and arrange your utensils in your cupboards ...it's more like semi automatic washing machine in utility. 😁 but still have it , if you don't mind dipping fingers in water once in a while.

      Well, I do understand your concerns and thanks for sharing with us but can't agree with all the points. I have all steel utensils and a stone chalka. I put everything in the dishwasher including food processor, chimney filters cooktop pot holders etc. I jst manually wash tawa and belan. That's it! My MIL and FIL are with us since last one month and we are washing all the utensils of 5 members in the dishwasher only. Yes, advantages of domestic help can't be denied but it is a great appliances in need specially if one doesn't have a help, working ppl and ppl who live in remote areas. I did have a house help before lockdown but I didn't feel the need of keeping one again after buying the dishwasher and Dyson. Also the electricity bill has increased by just Rs 350 - 400.

    We have been using a new Bosch dishwasher daily for about 6 months, before that we would only use an LG dishwasher occasionally. Since using the Bosch I notice my water consumption has increased by about 15%. Also I find the filter needs to be stripped and manually cleaned approximately once per month or the dishes will come out of the machine more dirty that they go in. Am I impressed with the Bosch machine? I have to say no.

    This LG i heard is excellent but for the fact it restarts from the very beginning if there is a power cut in the middle of the cycle. Only reason I'm hesitating about the brand

    • @SimplifyYourSpace
      @SimplifyYourSpace  Před 3 lety +1

      If there are not much power cuts in your area then you can buy it. I am happy with my dishwasher. No complains so far and we do not have much power cuts in our area.

    • @mayak2676
      @mayak2676 Před 3 lety

      It doesn't start from the beginning of the programme, it resumes from the beginning of the last function that was active. So if power cuts, wash cycle was over & rinse cycle is in progress, on power resume it will start from the beginning of the rinse cycle. Yes this is a flaw in this dishwasher. So if you stay in an area/city with frequent power cuts, it will be a problem

    Guys I bought dishwasher last month seeing all these videos. Let me tell you its the most useless thing ever. You will end up handwashing half the major utensils anyway after its done washing. People with hard water supply shouldn't even think about dishwasher. Salts don't work well enough no matter the brand. Detergents don't break food in the semi-hard water to clean properly.
