As I’m sure you’ve seen, many SEOs and digital marketers have been sharing about their favorite SEO use cases for ChatGPT on Twitter and LinkedIn. The unfortunate thing is that many of these SEO tips won’t help you improve SEO leading to wasted time.
So we tested dozens of ways to use ChatGPT for SEO (beyond generating AI content) and have come up with a list of SEO tactics, prompts, and techniques to help you get higher rankings and more organic traffic to your website. Not just that, you’ll learn some efficient techniques that will save SEOs time and money in their everyday workflows.
For example, one of the best ways to use ChatGPT for SEO is to construct snippets of code - regular expressions being one type. SEOs can use this in tools like Google Search Console (GSC) or Ahrefs to find specific subsets of data to improve SEO.
In this video, you’ll learn a handful of prompts to use in ChatGPT and a use case to find low-hanging keyword ideas in Google Search Console.

I did an interesting experiment with ChatGPT recently. I provided it with 60 content titles from our content plan and asked it to categorise them based on funnel position. It did that (somewhat accurately) without a problem. I then asked it to produce a table that organises the content based on which stakeholder (4 different ones in total) the content would be best suited to.
I realise all of that should be sorted out beforehand, instead of relying on an AI to give me the answers. But it did it remarkably well! Interesting use cases in this video!
But I agree too, asking it to come up with keywords produces terrible results.

Happy to see discussion regarding ChatGPT in SEO and it's actual benefits. To add my own two cents, I have noticed that "re-writing" existing content can be hugely beneficial for informational content on websites. It can create more unique phrases and help someone rank for other search terms.

The thing that you are pointing out are true for now, but ChatGPT is in its infincy. It has the ability to learn rapidly so this is the reason that ChatGPT is a game changer for SEO.

YES!! I use GPT for titles because I seriously stink at them. I also use it for coding and blog outlines! The only thing is, don't ask it if there's anything the outline is missing to make it more complete. It will ALWAYS find something, and my blogs are dense enough.😂

Question about featured snippets in general. Should this content be put in the introduction to briefly answer the question fast and clean. Or does google pick it from anywhere on the page, so you can answer the question further down and google picks it from there? Is there any information that it is beneficial to put the "featured snippet content" in the introduction paragraph?
Every featured snippet is different so it's worth looking at the winning snippet's page contents to see what they've done. You should find your answer there :)

Technically, it's preferable to put that featured snippet at the beginning of the article, and bold it. Google will know that's the answer to the question and will use it as a featured snippet if it's a good answer

With ChatGPT rolling out in Bing, it’s now pulling SERP data and might do better on search intent classification.

One of the best uses is to revise grammar and punctuation in a text you wrote yourself. Chat GPT can structure your text accurately and make your text look way better as long as you are clear enough

Google has no interest to know whether an article is produced by chatGPt, all they want is a useful piece of content that will satisfy their customers.
Just make sure your content shows expertise and is quality. It doesn't matter whether you use AI or not

Chat gpt is great for tables, I made a few tables with lots of data in just a few seconds. Normally gathering the information and formatting into a table would take 20 minutes or so.

It's not only about regex, as a SEO im using it for xpath rules for Screaming Frog Spider. It's great about code refactoring
Also I like it when it comes to Google Analitycs and how some specific "metrics" works or how i can get specific data from it. I just ask and it answer me quite well with examples.

Using your same template video on how to write blogs, we told Chat to create an article following that same structure,plagiarism check passed. Rewrite to sound more casual at an 8th grade level, added some visuals and fact checks came out good.
Bings version of chat is connected to the web. This is what I think is going on.
