This video helped me tremendously!!! Just installed the hot racing brass steering knuckles and I couldn’t figure out what was going on with my steering. Love the videos man you’re by far my favorite rc CZcamsr
Thumbs up from the Hot Racing help desk! I'm always seeking good instructional vids for my customers. I just added this one to my "catalog", if you have/make others feel free to shoot me a link and I will likely send viewers.
@@dirtrider88 interesting concept... did you pay him to watch it? I do send viewers, does that count? But seriously, I am working on a plan to offer discounts for useable vids. If anyone wants to share links I will consider all.
Tried to do some mods to my c10 today and didn't have the tools to get it done. When i put it back together i had no steering and after watching your video for something totally different you had the solution! Also really like your shock adjustment video. Gonna do that tomorrow!
Put it on the roof and go full steer each way to see how bad the binding is. The cuts in the cups aren't deep enough. Pretty easy fix with a dremel though.
@@brenl6181 has anyone brought this up to hot racing? It’s literally a 2 second fix for them, Christ sake, they should fit like a glove right out of the bag!
Is there any front axle set that just gives you more threads for your wheel nut? I bought brass knuckles from CCxRC and they are a bit wider so I lost some length on my threads. I also bought his "stock" brass wheel hubs but they are like a mm taller than the stock hubs, I can't even use them on the front cause I lose even more threads and can't get my wheel nut on at all.
I ordered +4 axles from ebay, NHX brand. Quality was horrible. Bearings couldn't fit through shaft. Front slits had burrs causing dog bone to bind, orings that didn't even fit, one rear axle thread for the wheel nut wasn't threaded properly. The only good thing about the kit was it came with chrome wheel nuts. I will be buying Hot Racing brand +4 extended shafts.
Nice let's get into it I dig your videos bro my favorite RC cars for sure are the scx24s
Hahahaha thanks bro ! I can agree with that!
awesome video. thanks for taking the time to make it because i had no idea what i was doing. SUPER HELPFUL!

So if I want to put these on an ax24 I'd need two sets of the front, correct?
@@tundrasr5709 Unfortunately Hot Racing does not make a set of links for this model.... yet.
just ordered these so I can use the 5g weights.....lol thanks for the video!

Glad the videos helped! Good luck tomorrow!
what was the problem? I recently lost steering as well

Good idea thanks!
done this a few times and had to recut the slots deeper each time with a dremel. Good call Zac.

Try extended wheels nuts
11:30 you forgot more flex, equally, if not more, important and beneficial as stability.
great tutorial though.
🤙🤙🤙
I just installed these and have a bad wobble due to the axles at all four corners. Did you have this problem at all?
Are your wheels/axles bent? I had this issues but the wheels were all different shapes not straight.
@@MiguelCortez I don't think the wheels are bent. I can see the axle spinning out of round without the wheel and weights on.
When you make it wider do you have to change other pieces because of it's new stance? Like the steering links?
You would think that would be an issue, but I didn't notice a problem!
I really struggle to get the rear axles in all the way. We’re yours tight or did they slide in?
Mine slid right in ! Don’t force anything ! Wiggle it around !

Check out the hr brand 👍
Hows your turning radius now
A bit of a change from what I could remember
@@MiguelCortez i put the brass knuckles on my deadbolt and brass wheel weights and now it doesn't turn as sharp.. as the c10
these are axle shafts right?
Yeah
