speaking of "old," here are some random thoughts: I didn't know that the lead singer wrote a top selling book, graduated from Stanford on a track scholarship, and today is 49 years old (old by alternative band standards)!

I just happen to be living this at the moment so I feel like I've got an insight into the song. And the place we're at here is a righteous and empowering place. We've realized it's not our fault and we did everything we could but we've had enough and we're not doing one more God damn thing.

Great concert last night in Indianapolis! Loved the song from the balcony and how you really rocked it out. The songs were more intense and harder than CD which was great. Very good live.
The name of the band was inspired by the book "White Noise" by Don DeLillo, airborne toxic event was the designation given to a chemical spill in the book
