Beast in black is they ex-guitarist and songwriter Anton Kabanens new band. "No more hollywood endings" is good and " The Golden Hoerde"
Listen to your dad, they totally have that 80s vibe and some obvious disco influences.
Noora Louhimo is an amazing singer, and more so when seen live: she is really wild.
She can sing that's for sure,,,good pick.
You should check out their new stuff "No More Hollywood Endings", "Eden", and "Endless Summer". "The Golden Horde" is really good too. All of those songs are from their new album, No More Hollywood Endings, which just released like a few days ago. Noora Louhimo is still the singer of Battle Beast. The band kicked out Anton Kabanen, the main lyricist and guitarist of the band, due to creative differences. He went on to create Beast in Black.
Would still love to see you react to more Amaranthe. "Countdown" and "Dream" are from the new album and are very good.

The strange thing is, the bands still *sort* of sound the same :) And don't listen to the people who claim that Battle Beast have gone downhill after the guitarist left. Hey, now we have *TWO* great bands to listen to!
Try Far Far Away too. There is also a duet kind of thing with Crystal Ball & Noora Louhimo. Really good.

Great reaction, guys. You perhaps might want to take a look at some live performance of this song, I think Battle Beast absolutely kills live. I personally consider this piece a particularly strong composition in the genre - plus during the 2016 they clearly were contemplating, together with the rest of the world, the prospect of such outlandisly ridiculous thing as Trump presidency. So, there definitely has been this retro-pastiche aspect to the band right from the beginning, but also a growing desire to reflect upon the pressing issues of the present times within that stylized 80's esthetic framework. That seems to translate into less songs about teenage power fantasies and sexual escapades - and more about the importance of social responsibility and the rule of law, among other things. Trubadours singing about the corruption of the ruler... hardly a novelty, at least in the European context.

Great reaction. B.B and Noora are still together and going strong. They have done some great songs over the years but could your please react to a cover they did of W.A.S.P's classic song Wild Child it really shows the brilliance of Noora's vocals and you will be blown away - trust me.
Good suggestion, I second, however, might be better to do ‘Endless Summer’ before getting too spoiled, what you think?
On their new album there an awesome track call "Raise your fists" you should check it ;)

I'm a Finn and suggest that you check out Beast in Black that is a much better band than current Battle Beast since Anton Kabanen left them and formed Beast in Black. This might be a good starting point from their latest album "From Hell With Love" - BEAST IN BLACK - From Hell With Love (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO).
P.S. Battle Beast still exists with a new guitarist, but Beast in Black is a new band with former BB guitarist Anton Kabanen and an amazing male vocalist Yannis Papadopoulos.
P.S.S. Doro Pesch (The Queen of Metal) is still going strong. She released her latest studio album "Forever Warriors - Forever United" on 17 August 2018, entering in many charts worldwide.

I like Battle Beast but the new album is a bit poppy for me. Noora sounds great but the music is a bit to flat and pop.
The new album? All songs? Piece of Me? The Hero? World on Fire? The Golden Horde? Raise Your Fists? Unbroken? The album has couple of poppy songs and people are like it's doomsday. I'm telling you, a band that sticks only in one style and genre is boring. It's refreshing both in a song and in an album when it has a transition to something different.
But some people are so limited they can only dig one style kind of music...
