Description says 2015... but that is a 16-18... still sounds awesome..
"We need high performance fluids" proceeds to use mobile 1 😂😂😂
Lot of money in labor to pull heads and disassemble clean and reassemble with new springs just to get 30 horsepower. Did I miss something about changing torque converter, because I’m sure it would be a waste to put in a bigger cam without a torque converter with a higher stall. Also I didn’t hear anything about tuning. That’s what stopped me from doing a top end kit on my 2015 because I’m no good with tuning these computer controlled trucks, and from what I’ve heard it costs a lot to get tuned and the reliability is never the same again. Which is a shame because I’d love to build a 500 horse daily driver that could still get 15 mpg and also pull a trailer without worrying about breaking down constantly.
IDK if its because of these massive tires or not on e85 or both but i have a 2014 single cab 4x4 5.3 with the BTR stage 2 and im definitely making close to 475. Stock on E85 these L83s make 380 hp and 420tq.
I’d be pretty upset to only gain that much after cam and exhaust. 😂
That’s what happens when you give it the “daily drive” tune.
My 16 model makes more than that with intake and headers tune and a circle D stall
I made 350whp before camming my 5.3 😂😂😂 Haven't dynoed the cam yet, I'm hoping its close to 400 now.
How much would this cost to get done? I've got a 5.3 and would need this all done
I guessing 6-10

@@BlackdogSpeedShopwhere you guys located? Thanks
Cam/valve springs/pushrods - $1100
Afm delete kit - $700
Labour - $2500-3000
This is all CAD. Plus the pricing of parts changes alot
awsome ready for a 2650 supercharger low tuned would make around 650 i belive
nevermind lol
I didnt here u say you changed one time use fuel lines
These L86 didn't come with LT1 intake manifold
I think they meant L83 to L86 intake. It’s a common mod on the LT trucks.
Was this the 5.3? Or 6.2?
Is your brain Ok?
@@toxicpariah6968 you're an ass wipen ass wipe
pretty sure 5.3 bro lol
How much would this cost?
Good question
More than you can afford punk
sounds stock, add more power to the truck with stickers.
