Much Needed 2022 Update Video

READ BELOW FOR SUMMARY OF TOPICS COVERED:
-I am returning to youtube on a more frequent basis for the foreseeable future. Especially during the summer months. Possibly during the semester but because of college and other obligations I am unsure. In any case this channel should never truly go “dead” for many months ever again even if uploads are sporadic at times.
-I have had a number of channel overhauls. A ton of small tweaks you don’t care about. But you will probably notice, my name is now different.
-I have changed it from BlueGreen YT to Bluegreen_MKW. Self-explanatory. I have also made this change on my twitch account.
-Content from this point moving forward will exclusively be Mario Kart Wii content, but perhaps a few sporadic music reuploads mixed into.
-Primarily livestream and some selected races post commentaries. This content will focus on mostly completive worldwides, mogi lounge, frooms.
-I also have done a much needed video recording/editing overhaul
-my old computer of eight years Toshiba, where I did the last 2 years of video editing on for this channel, is virtually dead (only used it for video stuff in 2020 but its dead). Tried streaming but over years continue to drop disgusting frames and takes 30 minutes to turn on.
-now using my MacBook Pro from college for video stuff too
-also have overhauled my capture card/setup
-for 9 years I used a DVC Dazzle100 to record in 480p on wii/Wii U
-but because I play on 1080p in wii through Wii U, finally a capture card update
-now use AVerMedia capture card for recording. It gets 720p so great for finally high quality videos and streaming. I accidently said 1080p in this video, my mistake
-also a headset overhaul. My Logitech H340 headset of 10 years, which I entirely used for commentary on this channel, finally had to go. I replaced it with the J-ANKKA gaming headset, a great budget buy for what I need.
-I will record and edit videos/streaming through my Mac now. I will be using OBS Studio for this process, so far so smooth but haven’t really done video editing. Will be using iMovie, I’m used to it (vs Pinnacle Studio 14).
-I am really excited with my new set up. I am splitting the HDMI signal, so I am playing through my LG monitor TV on my desk, with my computer/headset next to me on the table. Because of this it is very easy to edit footage/stream stuff while playing. Before I was on the big TV which meant I had to have the computer in my lap awkwardly or lean over to use my computer. Love this set up now, maybe I’ll send pics in its own video.
-So with a new capture card, a full overhaul, and I am the most excited I have been since 2017 (5 years) for video production on this channel.
