Lyrical and vocally this song is the best description of BPD I think I’ve ever seen.
My late wife of 15 years had BPD and this song was released a month after she past. And this song describes her struggles to a t. It’s just amazing.
These lyrics are so beautiful and heartbreaking. It feels so intimate, like I walked in on Chris and a private moment where he was dealing with some really serious shit. I mentioned in the comments on another vlog where I had the uncontrollable urge to give Chris a huge hug. Might be because I am a mother and if this was one of my sims I would just want to hug him and try to make it better.
I really like the "How do I apologize and put the tears back in your eyes" line

When Chris got into that first chorus I immediately started sobbing. Chris is truly a poet. His words are incredibly powerful and well put together. I think it’s important that this song is part of a trilogy, Chris is really into that sort of thing (I.e. the puppets trilogy, underdog, unstoppable, and untouchable. Etc) this song is meant to be one with Eternally Yours and Another Life. It’s incredibly painful but absolutely cathartic, you’re right. It’s beautifully written. I love that the music isn’t overpowering but rather supportive. The rawness of Chris’ vocals along with the melodies and the words… ugh. 🥺 I’ve been in my feelings ever since I heard this yesterday.
