Hi. I have a really sad update, after months of vet appointments, and dental surgery, my sweet little 13-year-old kitty, and best friend, Cookie has been diagnosed with Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma (a fast-growing type of mouth cancer) and in the last week her health has rapidly declined. 💔
I am so heartbroken. She has been my best friend and constant companion since I was 11 years old.
I am currently working on compiling photos and videos of Cookie to create a memorial video to honor her life and all the joy she has brought to all of us.
In her 13 years, with her special and sweet spirit, she has helped nurture and comfort many foster kittens and has been a motherly figure in their lives.
You might be familiar with our video of Cookie meeting the foster kitten Moo for the first time in our Angry Kitten video. If you haven’t seen that yet, here is a link: • ANGRY KITTEN!
Little Moo was very spicy and had an angry reaction to sweet Cookie, but later the two got to be good friends, and Moo eventually decided she liked Cookie.
These last few days here, it’s been a big comfort to me, to get a chance to express and process some of my emotions by working on making a custom design to memorialize my sweet cat Cookie.
If you would like to help us remember Cookie and share your love for her, I currently have customs available to order on Etsy of Cookie, and you can even pair her with a tiny little kitten of Moo.
The Cookie customs may only be limited edition, depending on how emotional it is for me to work on hand painting these customs after she has passed. 💔 But we’ll see. I’m hoping this will be therapeutic for me to work on these. 💕

Sorry for the loss. I just lost my dog last month, so losing a pet is tough, especially when she was motherly with the rest of my pets just like Cookie. My own cats are also getting up there in age. Take all the time you need to recover

I am so sorry about this! My cat Zoe was diagnosed with Cancer few years ago it was so said when it happened. It was on her mouth so she was not going to be alive much longer. So I know exactly how you feel about Cookie!

I know how it feels to lose a pet. My Mufasa died a few years ago when he was only a kitten because he was hit by a car. He walks in Starclan now. I still miss him. Pets are never just animals, they're our family. 💕

ive been a fan for a year or two now. i know how hard it is to lose a cat, who has been in your life since you were 11 years old. it's heartbreaking, and i understand the much delay in episodes. "grief can manifest in different ways" as told by many. may starclan light his/her path.

I am so sorry to hear this, I know how it feels to have a furbaby you know for so long start to have problems. I know it's hard, and I'm sorry to hear it happen to her. I may just be a complete stranger, but if you are needing to talk or vent, I am here for you.
And just know that while she is in a bad position, she will be happy the whole time, knowing that you are with her and love here, and when she leaves, she will watch over you until you join her and get to be together forever.

I’m so sorry to hear about cookie. I know the feeling of having a pet diagnosed with an illness like this. My maternal grandparents had a dog named Abby. Abby was basically another grandmother to me, and when she was diagnosed with cancer I was heart broken.
Take the time you need to grieve. This is hard, but know that many other people are in the same boat, so you are not alone. I’ll be praying for you.

Lillie, I am so sorry for your loss! This is happening to me too... My dog was diagnosed with Diabetes... And she was doing fine for the first few days when we gave her insulin. But a while after that, she has gone completely blind and we're keeping her for as long as we can until she... You know... for me as an animal lover I hope you and your sister get through this...

Aww I’m so sorry to hear about Cookie! I’ve had to put down my first cat back in 2017 due to cancer leading to tumors and I’ve had her since 2009. Similar health issues occurred with 2 of my other cats as well where one had lung cancer and the other liver failure. I am unsure what my first cat was diagnosed with

I know how you feel my dog passed away in January due to a huge tumor in his stomach, the size of a football, and the sad part was he was a huge part of my childhood. It was extremely sad to see him go he was the clown dog little fun fact, he actually sent two puppies to us, cheer us up after the huge grief of losing him, I’m so sorry for your poor cats, RIP, Grayson, and cookie you’ll be missed
