- Slash has released his 2nd solo album, and 6th overall called "Orgy of the Damned" which is an album filled with blues, soul, and rock 'n' roll classics sung by some of rock's biggest artists including Brian Johnson, Iggy Pop, Chris Robinson, Paul Rodgers, Gary Clark Jr. and more. But as much as I love the blues, is there such a thing as TOO MUCH blues? Let's find out on this edition of ROCK ALBUM REVIEW!

It was billed as a blues album so I would expect a lot of blues
There's no such thing as 'too much blues' , haha.
Nice channel, dude.
Nobody leaves this place without singing the blues
I think its one of Slash's best solo albums.
I dont dig it as much as the stuff with the Conspirators but it's still solid 🤘
I think he should definitely do another blues album
Amazing Blues man! Perfect
Adventures in babysitting. Need still check this one out. Good review.
Lol classic movie! The album is definitely worth a listen
I love blues, play it again!

While Demi Lovato started as a Pop Singer, her most recent albums have been heavily Rock influenced and they’ve been fantastic. “Holy Fvck” was one of the heaviest Rock albums of 2022 and then in 2023 she covered her most popular songs in Hard Rock fashion and knocked most of them out of the park. She’s had an interesting transition to being a Rock Artist since 2022 and I really liked this rendition on this album.
I'll have to check out more of her rock stuff 🤘
I was surprisecd how much I enjoyed this album. Most of the songs have a great core groove in the backend of the songs, and of course, the strings up front are tastefully done. There is some nostalgia automatically built in for us "older" listeners.
The band does sound great on here, Slash always finds great players! Thanks for watching!
Stapleton is a badass guitarist in his own right.
Saw him open for Guns in 16 in Nashville
Nice, ill have to check out more of his stuff
Papa was a Rolling Stone is the highlight for me. Demi (who I barely know) blew me away. The entire band absolutely slay that track.
She does have a killer voice!
Hey Nick I’m an old school rocker born 70’ and I thought rock was pretty much dead until I discovered a band named Band Maid. There an all female Japanese hard rock band that kicks butt! Check out there official video for ‘Manners’ and you’ll see. Not only do I think they are the best hard rock band playing now but so do a whole lot of other old school rockers. They have over 40M views on reactions alone. This band can really help your channel. Anyways if you do react to them can I get a shoutout? Either way keep rocking! 🍺🤘🏻
Thanks for the recommendation, they sound cool! I'll check it out 🤘
@@NickCinoMusic Thanks!
Are you familiar with Danielle Nicole? If not I highly recommend listening to her and her previous band Trampled Under Foot. Also check out her appearance with the Norton’s and the Shamika Copeland cover Married to the blues.
Never heard her before, thanks for the recommendation!

You are welcome. She has won I think 8 blues awards. My favorite song from her:

Where is that Albert Collins footage from?
The classic 80s film Adventures in Babysitting
That was the point.
It’s just a goofy clickbait headline
It is intended to be a blues album and its full of old classics
Demi made a rock album 2 years ago called Holy Fvck Demi started her career in pop rock music
I'll have to check it out 🤘
I'm not a fan of blues music at all. But love slash so I downloaded it... Wasn't bad at all
Its definitely a solid album!
Can’t really call it a slash solo album, it’s a covers album
As I said in the review, it's like his debut solo album from 2010, but instead of original songs, it's blues covers, either way it's billed as a SLASH album
DEMI LOVATO WAS INSANE🔥🔥🔥🤘🏻
She sounds great!
Steven Tyler was on harmonica. The video was good
Well that explains it! 🤘
Tyler was on the track with Brian Johnson but i want to know who's on it in The Pusher
Best Track: "Papa Was a Rolling Stone." Incredible vocal performance saves the day from the excess of over-playing by Slash. Second best track: "Living for the City" with another stand out vocal by second guitarist Tash Neal. Rest of the tracks are decent, albeit hackneyed, but after one listen you're exhausted with rambling, constructed, unmemorable guitar solos. My dream version of this record would have been without Slash with tasteful, restrained performances by his incredibly talented band and vocalists- think "Jumping at Shadows" Peter Green, but then nobody would listen to it.
I'm surprised someone agrees that the album is too long with too many solos, seems everyone thinks the opposite
@@NickCinoMusicwhat do you expect? It’s a slash’s blues album, slash has been played long solos forever. It’s his concept of blues (and overall guitar playing) I would say he lost some magic in his playing, but this is a well known problem, since the snakepit albums I would say.
The older I get the more blues rock becomes as unlistenable as t swift.
The blues will always be great but there's def more to music beyond it
