JLK, thanks for all you do in this tiny corner of the entertainment world. You single handedly got me addicted to DayZ. It was a video that popped up after my 5 year old daughter had been searching and watching tips on Roblox. She fell asleep and i woke up late in the evening and one of your videos was playing. I could...not...have..been more intrigued. i was 41 with a 5 and 1 year old, i had a full family complete with loans and mortgages and a FT job or 2...and hadnt gamed in 20ish years sans the random foray into GTA and Red Dead. The only thing that remotely interested me were "Sandbox" style games, where i could do as I wanted. My life was heading into a fairly predictable direction...until I woke up from a "dad-snooze" one random night.
Since then ive bought an xbox, SteamDeck and now...a Gaming PC. And though my Wife cannot stand me gaming again, and , by default is not a huge JLK fan...I am.
Maybe you do or maybe you dont hear it enough, but aside form your videos being "awesome", theyve also sparked a creativity side in me that i long thought gone...and dead, which in turn have made me a more fun, productive and creative person....and dad. Keep on doin your thing man... hope to see you out there someday.... JB
Got me playing aswell after watching a video of his few years ago. I was trash obviously and quit but here I am again and I'm gonna start playing again idc how long it takes this time also it's a priority you should have a mic to talk I use to not talk at all. Now on ps5 it's literally just built into the controller so now I talk just because why now lol

About 2 years ago I stopped playing DayZ altogether.....about 6 months before I decided to get back into it, JLK's and SourSweet's videos started getting recommended....thanks to them I got back into it and have pretty much stayed in the game since. Their stories have inspired me to start meeting and making friends (I used to only run lone wolf for almost a year and a half) and now I go on crazy adventures everyday.....I don't build or bury, I always either start fresh and go for as long as I can....sometimes having that character up for weeks. Thanks JLK for the newest video...

I honestly think JLK could direct a movie, I’ve watched almost every DayZ video and they all have an amazing story, great editing, and great people
22:05 when they ask how far, your scope has a range estimator. It’s the weird sideways v with the top line sloping up. Place the flat line at their feet, and the curved line on their head, and the number next to each tick is how far they are away. So for example if someone’s head was on the far right of the line, they are 200 meters away, etc…

@@joeyyyproductions one more question here it comes. I'am planning to buy Dayz on ps4 but i don't know if it has fps drops in medium people servers or low people servers. My connection is normal in EU servers most of games like bf4 i get 20-60 ping but do i get performance problems? Is the game well optimised for ps4? I don't want to receive a gameplay alpha15. 7 days to die experience in this game like uncontrollable character hard controls menu, ui settings etc. Can you light a knowledge fire into this dark mind lol? Thank you so much for reading with patience and sorry if i made mistakes while writing down my thoughts.

Incredible how far you've come! I remember the first (or one of the first) video of yours I watched, in which you showed us a route on Chernarus to find a car the quickest way possible. I think you had 2000 subs or so and I knew, that if you would continue, you will make it very far! Now you've become the #1 DayZ-Storyteller which already dozens of others tried to copy - more or less successful. Keep it going and keep having fun doing your stuff!

I've watched a lot of people play this game but. You man. I love how I can watch your content and it just hooks me. Like no other. As a solo player back in the mod days this is how I used to play. Loot up some basic supplies then live out in the map edges somewhere moving inwards to loot. Stay hidden, avoid combat. Pretty fun.
