That would be great because nowadays 90% of matches at german 5.7 are uptiers to 6.7. Won't be a problem anymore for the tiger 1 at 5.3.

Tiger I's were a common enemy because of uptiers and even more now after i unlocked the Su-152

Tiger doesn’t need a BR change. They need a matchmaking change. Closer BR. When you get the tiger you fight 6.7 until you cry. And everyone and their mom plays the tiger so the whole team is slow and the hellcats melt everyone.
Moving the tiger down is great for saving the tank. But omg is it gonna hurt a lot of lower players

Thats why i changed to italian tech tree, i save myself the suffering of 5.3-5.7 axis uptier by being the uptier and im dont a slow cannon glass and got best fighter to clean the sky, and now i have researched up to 7.0 italy ground forces while i left germany at 5.7 and dont want to return to that hell.
Maybe with this change i might think in returning to play germany

@Cory Buck its front is hard to effectively bounce with even well angled. Little to much they hit the corner and go right through , little to angled and they go right through your font, the cardboard box shape doesn't really give it any favors for defense that's for sure.

I wonder how long the meeting was at Gaijin when they decided that it was a good idea for the 88mm to face 76mm KV-1s...
The Tiger 1 is a prime example of when it's bottom tier it's cannon fodder, but when it's top tier it can in some cases be seen as OP. There are many other examples of this where tanks would be horrible at bottom tier, but fantastic/maybe even OP at top tier. The Tiger 1 is fine at 5.7... it's the match making spread that needs to change. The community have asked a few times for the spread to change from 1.0 to 0.7 so we don't have those top tier or bottom tier extremes and it should result in more consistent game play... not perfect, just better. It can at least be tried to see how a 0.7 spread would work. Instead they are constantly just shifting vehicles around.
But... maybe Gaijin knows something we don't... maybe this fixes the issues of being bottom tier or top tier for some vehicles. I seriously doubt it when you look at Gaijin's track record so far, but if it works I'll be happy to be wrong.

Soviet Kraut Kaiser i think its for the better though. The tiger h1 doesnt have any advantage in comparison to the tiger e, so it makes sense to give it a lower br. Also, 100mm of frontal armour isnt really that strong if you think about it, the panzer IV has 85mm at 4.0 and is easily penetrated. And the jagdtiger was a bit underpowered at 7.0 too

they only look at numbers. doesn't matter that it's an over powered vehicle played by mongoloids hitting their heads on a keyboard, or something so niche, it's 3 amazing players who only touch it, the performance of players will influence BR.
So it’s realistic to have a tiger 1 fight tanks it has trouble penning and whose armor is useless when it constantly gets uptiered this is more historically accurate in terms of tanks it’s going to fight
Now you know what it’s like fighting post Korean War tanks in a tiger 2 where your armor is completely useless your ungodly slow and that’s not even with an uptier I don’t play Germany that much should be fun to try to kill tigers with Sherman’s now though instead of instantly killing them with no problem

The reason the Tiger H1 went down in BR is because the whole BR changes are based off of the win/loss ratio, since all the Wehraboos think the Tiger was the best tank in WW2 and hold it up on a pedestal they go for it straight away, then when they get absolutely shafted by other tanks it brings the win/loss down.
They nerfed the M4A3E8s turret traverse speed as well for some reason! It was 20, then 18.1, now 16.7 I think. Why? And then the T-34-85 with the 22 or something degrees per second. I really doubt it does that speed.
Its 22.6 Degrees, the Crew level is also a factor

@@FD_Stalker I don't know what game you're playing but German air is certainly not meh. They have the best cannon-armed ground pounding aircraft with those deadly 30mm's, the Duck, the 50mm Arado and 50mm Me 410's, etc. And the K-4 is one of the BEST fighters for its BR. Yeah it's going to lose to Griffon Spitfires and the P-51H, but of course it should because their BR's are completely different.
They also have some of the best bombers with the Do 217's. 4 1000kg bombs that drop independently? Fastest bombers? Check. Ju 288C just owns with its guaranteed-kill 1800kg monsters. Yeah their pre-Do 217's are pure garbage, but most early nations bombers are garbage bomb-load and defensive turret wise.

You can shoot its gun barrel easily since the muzzle break is massive, you can destroy its tracks just as easily, it's slow as shit so it can't respond to anymore than one attacker, the cupolas let you whittle down the crew, so on and so forth. It's good that the Tiger H1 was brought down to more historical matchmaking. The only thing remaining that Gaijin needs to add to make the Tiger 1 historically balanced is to give the crew Panzerschokolade (meth) which boosts their skills by 200% but has a small chance of them dying randomly due to a heart attack.

and one with ~240 (if i remember correctly) but a bit less pen
i've done testing and it seems that after penning ...the PzGr does worse than the PzGr 39
they have the same fusing too
if i shoot and pen ...i have more success with the PzGr 39
and i don't mean shooting at plates of thickness that may hamper the PzGr's ability to pen....i'm talking 50mm thick cupolas or stuff like that

Do we forget that when Ground Battles were in their infancy, and the Tiger H1 was about the same BR range it's about to change to? Yes it clubbed, and got clubbed, but you really had to learn how to use it effectively. I remember being terrified of IS2s and IS1s. When they released the american tech tree, and the fear of new unknown enemies, made me feel like I was a German tank commander, new to the western front.
I really miss the old days of War Thunder when it was more fun to play and less like a stress to do well.
Hopefully Gaijin comes to their senses and realizes that fixing the game, and making it more enjoyable rather than just shoving newer shiny things and broken mechanics.
I miss the simple times, and hope to god they come back again

@@mmmbrunommm3 T20 will own tigers. 76mm with buffed APCBC, trolly armor, low speed stab (which makes it get the first shot every time. Extremely mobile tank as well. ACIV + Comet (and iron duke)+ Wyvern combo will also anihilate them. Not to mention the T-34 85 D5T and french Super Shermans.

If you check the winrate of the german tanks at 5.0 and above, all your doubts and questions will be answered. 30-40% winrate vs 60-70% winrate of their opponents. This makes perfect sense :D

The jumbo 75 when it was 4.7 completely dominated the map but it's now 5.0 or 5.3 (I don't remember to be exact) and it sees t3485 and Panthers a lot both of which don't give two shits about it's armor.
The 76 jumbo was bad enough at 5.7 I don't know why it's still a 6.7.
Jagtiger aphe is unreliable at times. sometimes the HE doesn't gets set off and when it does sometimes it does nothing even with a direct shot.

@@dr_birb US 6.7- 7.0 is quiet strong with the T series heavy tanks. For 5.7 Germans, US 6.7 is HELL.

JT i dont know. It might be too powerful for 6.7 most rounds cant pen it frontally 500m+ at those tiers
I once one shooted an angled tiger 1 with my t-34 1942 with apcr rounds through the lower hull weak spot. It was incredible.

I can't wait for this. Finaly some sort of balancing. Tanks that rely on armor should not be killed instantly by armor ignoring shells. That's just dumb.
Tiger H has a commander's tower. U can easy take it down through it. Plus, recently they've increased pen of all guns, so it's easy to pen tiger through hes top armored thing.
