Quick hack if you have a black saber and a flex put the flex blade on the saber trust me bro. I put the gold saber blade (bought separately) and put it on the flex but that gold wahl style blade just hits different on the saber
Ima go with the saber, Its been my go to trimmer, haven’t used my babyliss fx ever since I got em. Definitely gonna get the the black saber soon, might as well get another gold x blade, & add to it, since they’re hitters outside the box 🔥, great video!!
I find myself using the flex more than my saber. I think it has more to do with the blade that comes with the flex that i prefer...i might just have to order another blade for my sabers idk. You cant really go wrong with either one imo ...also nothing on the market hits like my gold fx...just thought id put that out there
I almost fell for the "hype" like we said in the 80's , I see that the Fashion show continues in the Barber field. All these different brands, clippers and trimmers do the same thang and barbers think they just gotta have them, [to be the cool barber] . I can cut better with Target and walmart corded clippers. Stop the hype.
I got my Flex yesterday. It did everything well as Reg said but there's one thing that i must add here: i used it for around 5 minutes and the blade became so so hot. Has anyone experienced the same thing when using the Flex? I think my new Flex is defected. Please share your thoughts after using the Flex. I need to hear before i return it. Thanks guys.

Saber trimmer is a definitely much better choice! They both got about the same power and line ups... But the low vibration, low noise, premiumness of Saber is soooo much more worth it! I got both of them and since I got Saber I haven't touched the flex, cause it quickly got even louder and cheap plastic and design is very lame... I think its a no brainer

The reason they feel different is because if the material of the body. It’s like the wahl senior and wahl magic. People will swear one is stronger than the other…. Naw!!! Bull-s**t. Metal bodies and hard plastics will vibrate differently. It’s marketing. I ain’t mad at Stylecraft either. Keep pumping out new stuff

Saber is the best Trimmer i ever had.
The original blade on the Flex is better than I thought. I had to put it back on after trying the black blade.

Haven’t experienced a hot Flex blade but I also practice on/off cutting. I rarely leave the trimmer on.

Nah champ they are different. Different motors (rotary vs brushless) but not to mention they have different style of blades.
