@3DJapan Office Space was initially going to be a movie based on the animated Milton segments that Mike Judge wrote for Saturday Night Live. But it was decided Milton wasn't enough to base a whole movie around. So Milton stayed in it as a background character, but it evolved into Office Space.
I think my fav Khan moment was the episode Bobby takes a women's self defense class and learns to kick guys in the nuts. He starts power tripping and Peggy confronts him saying something along the lines of "I have no testicles". Khan yells over the fence "She's bluffing! Finish her!"
I remember that. I was crying my eyes out from laughter. Best scene ever.

Mike Judge made both Beavis & Butt head as well as King of the Hill. He's a genius. You really need to see several full episodes to get a lot of the jokes.

Although KoTH doesn't have much of a story.... Judge connects the episodes in some way shape or form. So a lot of jokes, punch lines etc would be missed having not watched prior episodes.

@@Kikan319 I'd say it's more episodic. Each episode follows a very specific formula that's reused every time. It basically boils down to: hank saying something like "that boy ain't right", then he either ends up learning a lesson or proving that he's right about something.

the part about the dolphin at around 13:18 was a episode where Luanne talked Hank into having a dolphin encounter at a resort. after some swimming during their encounter the dolphin got confused and sexually assaulted Hank Hill and Bill was saying that it happened to him before.
I love when Teach just gives him that look of "I know Dear.".

I remember watching this in the 3rd grade for a few weeks. Even if my parents didn't understand English, they knew it was bad and i never watched it again 😂

I could tell this video would come. king of the hill is very CLASSIC. I haven't seen it yet. But From these very funny moments, I can tell this series will make me laugh.
Definitely give it a watch - there are some bad moments but all in all 9/10

love king of the hill! you just can't go wrong with it! Something I bet Teach likes a lot! It's a funny comedy show but goes a bit deeper than that, it shows realistic situations that could actually happen, at times it's a bit more exaggerated but overall, the show is a fairly realistic one that teaches lessons and morals but also can be a show you just laugh at too. It's really a work of art!

Hank was originally supposed to be 50, but they made him younger to appeal to audiences.
Original Hank sounds like a cross between Hank and Cotton.

FYI, the shows was based around actual Texan stereo types Mike Judge experienced when he lived in Texas.
As a Texas boy, I can confirm these stereotypes are all real. It's one of the reasons the TV show was so popular.

If I remember correctly, Peggy trying to say "penis" was from the second episode of the first season. What happened was the sexual education teacher quit after receiving death threats from the conservative parents of Arlen. So, the school called on Substitute Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Hill to take over. In the end, Bobby was the only one in the class because none of the other parents would sign the required permission slip.
Season 1 episode 2 is correct.
I think the Death Threats were specifically from Dale, but yeah pretty much.

The "God to billions of Asians" has to do with the Laotian new year Pimai, a buddhist celebration, and Bobby being the reincarnation of Llama Sanglug. It's the episode "Won't you Pimai Neighbor?" it's a somewhat curious but funny episode.
Awesome reaction but some of the jokes you have to watch the episode to understand like the one where Peggy says my child is god to billions of Asians. Since they thought Bobby was a lama… But I’m sure someone already explained that lol
