Michael Ball and BBC Radio 2 make the dreams come true for Harrison Holmes, a volunteer presenter for Radio Lonsdale at Furness General in Barrow.

One of the most heartwarming pieces of television I have seen for a long time. I grew up listening to Red Rose Radio and then Rock FM when the split in frequency occurred in June 1990 and I know Steve Saul was at the station for some time in the 1990s, I believe. I told my wife I would show her this segment but could not find it on catch up yesterday so it is great to see it posted here, thank you. Brilliant to see Harrison meet Michael Ball. Just a joyous occasion for all involved, it is clear. Hospital radio is such a worthy endeavour and it is very fortunate that Harrison is involved. Long may this be the case. Great cameo from the legend Gary Davies. Kudos to Steve Saul for organising the meeting.
