- We visited the Spring Creek Basin wild horse management area multiple times. Here is a video that shares our visits to the area. The BLM is responsible for the area and here is the link to their web site.

In addition, TJ Holmes looks after multiple rescue mustangs which are in a sanctuary area in Disappointment Valley. TJ maintains a blog and posts to it on a regular basis.

Just a hand full of miles south of where I live in the San Luis Valley there are a bunch of wild horses. They reside in the San Luis Hills or what used to be called the Brownie Hills.
Interesting
Love it. It reminds us of the Theodore Roosevelt Park where they have wild horses, bison and prairie dogs. Love watching them.
They’re pretty neat, especially the baby!
