From The Vault: "A Time To Live"/"The Story of the Acadians"

On this episode we celebrate Maine’s French Acadian heritage with two programs from the archives.
First, we will go to 1973 for an episode of the French Acadian series “A Time To Live”. Here we spend time at “Van Buren Days”, a festival to celebrate Acadian history and culture. In the second half of the show, we go to 1980 for “The Story of the Acadians”. We’ll examine their history and what it means to be an Acadian by exploring Nova Scotia's Acadian roots.
