To think that each machine back in the day was THE hottest coolest have to have ride and in a year or two it was eclipsed by something better , you just don't realize the evolution until you see a collection like this.

I agree most of those old sleds people just parked them in the weeds when they upgraded and you look at these ones and realize just about everyone was making them

Drove the Moto Ski at 3:03 and the Scorpion at 4:30 when I was in high school, Scorpion I believe had a 18 hp and a Moto Ski Ms18/28hp, which sadly couldn't find in video. Miss those days.

There's so many machines there that I've never seen before. Some amazing designs back then, it's cool to see what they thought people wanted and the innovative ideas they executed. Very cool to see, that fella collected a pile of history.👍👍

In the late 80s, I was in my late teens and bought a 69 Artic Cat, leopard skin pattern seat and all. Somebody had re- powered it and it was a BEAST, for what it was. The enclosed ski at the beginning almost looked like an AMC Gremlin. Great video, Thanx!!!👍👍

Cool video of some vintage iron I have never seen.....I noticed that there were no “RUPP” model snowmobiles in that collection!
I still have my 1974 RUPP Nitro II that I purchased in 1975 in Williston ND from Duane’s Radiator Shop, local dealer, still have the RUPP 2-piece snowmobile suit as well.

    Thanks for your video.
    About Old Snowmobiles it's incredible.
Really - I have never seen so many models of snowmobile.
I saw there incredible models. It would have been interesting if the owners would have put a small card showing the year and the model. If possible, I would like to have the information of the place (Such as address /The geographical coordinates) and the details of the event; It is an annual fair, or a special day.
I really like having the coordinates of the places where interesting things happen.
I know that Zumbrota, MN is in USA.
I also saw your text talking about a deceased neighbor.
So I believe (this sale / or storerooms exist) is because of the death of Mr. Clemens. But I can not believe that this man had kept all these old machines. Even in a century it is impossible to have been the owner of all this.
    👍
Thank you very much for any information.

Thst was it, fired up second pull. Other than track tension and replacing skags i did nothing but fill it with premix for the 6 or 7 years i had it. And i beat the hell out of it.

@@jeremycarey6627Just the centrifugal clutch on those motors is worth $100, the rest of the drive is worth a lot too, gears, sprockets, jackshafts, variable pulleys like the cars have today a CVT "continuously variable transmission" those gear reductions and overdrives are wild, I had a 1963 TOTE GOTE , it had a tiny 3.5 hp Briggs & Stratton motor but with the CVT drive it pulled like a tractor at launch, if you floored it you wheelied easily, they did not coast at all, as soon as you let off the gas the engine braking was very strong so much so that making a u turn was tricky unless you kept the throttle on enough to not allow engine braking mid turn, I had a POWELL Super Challenger that had a pivot for the engine that allowed it to tilt forwards or rearwards which made the drive belt engage further down in the V of the drive pulley for top end but less quickness or tilt the engine back and the belt engages at the outer perimeter of the driven pulley which is like how a 10 speed bicycle operates, 2 sprockets up front and 5 in back for 10 speeds only these use continuously variable pulleys that operate inversely proportional to each other for infinite ranges from tree climbing slow to fast top end speed.
