Great video! Another possibility is Karambwans from 65-80! The fishing spot never moves, and with fairy rings I frequently get 35k+ xp/hr. The profit is less, but they have a great chance at the Herron pet. Also, with the fish barrel you can ask for 5 mins before having to bank. Banking with quest cape and karamja gloves takes me about 15 seconds. Slightly slower with the lower requirement shazien method.
@@ad18maa there’s a bank deposit box a couple steps away from the teleport, and then you use the quest cape for easy fairy ring access to get back to the fishing spot

You're high if you think you'll make 350k an hour at infernal eels. Especially if you're not paying attention. You'll make 250k an hour at 99 with almost max efficiency if you have karamja gloves. Forget about that at 80 fishing.
what about the salmon/trout spot south of priff that literally never moves? it's where i did it. you're guaranteed a full inventory every time you click since it never moves, so all you have to do is drop all 28 items every ~3 minutes, and the xp rate would be fairly high compared to other methods. no gp though compared to yours, but skilling in general produces low gp now for various reasons
I actually had no idea that spot existed. It will certainly be less afk but it definitely sounds like a good spot to get to 80 or when you can use your phone more regular.
@@ovrreaction yeah i didn't know about it until a few months ago, and i've been playing for 3 years now. i think comparatively the lava eels spot is the ultimate AFK spot because of how long the AFK time is and also the non-negligible amount of money it makes, but it also produces maybe only a third of the xp that trout/salmon nodes yield. i always recommend people to just go for that singular unique trout/salmon spot (even on mobile) because it's like doing karambwans but you never bank so there's no need to worry about doing tempoross for the fish barrel. you just have to accept not making money (which is justified because it's so much faster). if anything the main thing it comes down to is how much effort you consider the dropping phase of the powerfishing to be. if it's not too bad for you then it's a much better method. plus, the difference between a fishing spot moving rarely and literally never moving is actually massive, and i didn't fully appreciate it until i got used to knowing i would always have a full inventory exactly 2-3 minutes later and never had to worry about whether the spot randomly moved even if it's a spot that rarely moves.

Infernal eels are definitely the way! Gonna be doing this to get myself the heron pet. And what it comes to karambwans, I prefer infernal eels over them because it is much faster to do the required actions at infernal eels than it is at karambwans cause of all the teleing and banking. At infernal eels you literally have to click once to the tile next to you when fishing spot moves and use hammer on the eels. Much more simpler and faster clicks and thats why more afk :D Really good video!

How does this compare to using a fishing barrel and karambwan + banking? Can AFK up to 5 minutes while fishing 2 full inventories and then banking via fairy ring. I assume slightly more AFK but unsure if more profitable/better xp per effort.
Whenever I train fishing, I just fish what I feel I want to stack up in the bank at the time. Need combo food, bwans and minnows for a bit. Want to get that last unique at tempoross, I do that. Anglers for overeating, etc, etc. Obviously between a main and an iron priorities may be different.
I play exclusively on my phone I love being able to lay in bed and play rs and I can do all content anyone else can. I run toa solos, I do corrupted gauntlet.. Muspah you name it. I actually think I'm worse on pc than on mobile because I'm not used to pc.
I afk fishing on mobile at work on my iron. I logout a lot from getting too busy, but have managed to get to 88 fishing without much effort. I did karambwans with fish barrel to 85, banking in zanaris so you don't have to change the fairy code, then went to infernal eels for the tokkul and onyx tips. I already have almost 400k tokkul saved up and will continue to afk there or sacred eels when I start needing zulrah scales.

Great guide for the afk people. But you’re right. Now a days Runescape is about the most efficient because the player base is older. We don’t have as much free time to play and whatnot. Wish I could rewind time to when we had more time. 😢

I just did afk crystal harpoon xp farming at tempoross from 82-91 for Mory diary on mobile. When you're paying too little attention you can definitely sometimes mess a phase up, but in general it's about 1-2 minutes of activity per 10 minute solo game, the rest is very low attention. Even messing up and not finishing a game or needing to restart I was getting no less than 60k xp/hr upto 85k xp/hr when I was keeping up. The rewards from fishing in general aren't very prominent so it's a fine tradeoff because you still get a decent chunk of gp from the rewards pool as well as the pet chance, fishing barrel (which makes karambwans a really good afk/xp/gp method), and other collection log slots if thats something you're into
After doing the eels method and getting like 12 bolt tips an hour for like 6 hours of afking it’s more like 100kgp an hour and the 9m exp I have left to hit 99 would be about 25mgp so just wanted to throw that out there not quite 130m
The incando hammer (however you spell it) is a useable hammer you can equip to save inventory space. I assume thats less afk though since you would have to switch to your inventory to use it

I actually found them to be a lot less afk as you catch more per hour. The spot also moves more frequent and further. Plus the requirement is a higher level. If you don't have a firecape its definitely an option though.
Bro how does every fishing guide skip over lvl 5 bait fishing? It’s like 3-5 times faster than shrimp. Don’t fish shrimp to fly fishing. Baitfish herring and sardines. Much quicker. Carry on.

I wonder why more people don't do drift net fishing. It can be afk or non depending on preference and gives sharks starting at level 71. I average 80k fishing exp/hr and 100k hunter exp/hr on my ironman. All it takes is growing a low level hop for the nets

Tried, meh. Eel spots move too often. Back to karams with barrel (quest cape + gem mine deposit), atleast i can leave the screen and have guaranteed continuous fishing until full.
This is how I got 99 fishing on mobile at work lol. After 99 wc at redwoods I wanted to find something else to do at work. This was the best way to do it. Now I'm at amethyst doing the same thing. (But for much less xp) I wish we could petition Jagex to up the log out timer to 20 minutes like the runlite timer is. Would make Gotr the absolute afk mining method.
Out of interest how is amethyst, I've only ever mined them a handful of times and never found it to be to afk as once you've mined the rock once its depleted.

It's the banking that I thought might be quite tricky on mobile for trying to afk. Its definitely an option though.

I bring rune pouch and bank at Seers then poh tele to take fairy ring back

This is what I used to do when I worked retail. I'd just load up the eels between customer interactions when our store was slow.

Pretty sure the best afk for xp is on a fishing spot that never moves south of Prifddinas near the Iorwerth Camp teleport. Better xp than Karambwans

I actually found them to be a lot less afk as you catch more per hour. The spot also moves more frequent and further. Plus the requirement is a higher level.
If you don't have a firecape its definitely an option though.
Bro how does every fishing guide skip over lvl 5 bait fishing? It’s like 3-5 times faster than shrimp. Don’t fish shrimp to fly fishing. Baitfish herring and sardines. Much quicker. Carry on.
Good point I just thought no one should be doing shrimp anyway so I rushed over it a bit. Should always do the quests in my opinion.

I wonder why more people don't do drift net fishing. It can be afk or non depending on preference and gives sharks starting at level 71. I average 80k fishing exp/hr and 100k hunter exp/hr on my ironman. All it takes is growing a low level hop for the nets
Karambwan and angler fish r pretty good and money
Why not scale eels?
They're a bit less afk than lavas. Also for irons good way to get onyxs or cash but alching bolts.

Tried, meh. Eel spots move too often. Back to karams with barrel (quest cape + gem mine deposit), atleast i can leave the screen and have guaranteed continuous fishing until full.
I'm going to look into this. As a lot of people have said this. I thought it was less afk than eels but I should of throughly checked.
You should compare this with sacred eels.
I believe their quite a bit less afk due to a faster catch rate. Plus spots move quicker

This is how I got 99 fishing on mobile at work lol. After 99 wc at redwoods I wanted to find something else to do at work. This was the best way to do it.
Now I'm at amethyst doing the same thing. (But for much less xp)
I wish we could petition Jagex to up the log out timer to 20 minutes like the runlite timer is. Would make Gotr the absolute afk mining method.
Out of interest how is amethyst, I've only ever mined them a handful of times and never found it to be to afk as once you've mined the rock once its depleted.
@@ovrreaction Mining amethyst with expert mining gloves is the most afk if you consider making a larger profit out of mining. In terms of afk it would be falling stars imo.
