- In today's video we head to Universal's Cabana Bay Beach Resort for our first Universal staycation! I show you everything you need to know about this hotel with a full room tour and a complete walkthrough of the grounds. At Cabana Bay you can relive the iconic beach resorts of the 1950's and 60's. It's affordable and this is for the entire family, enjoy the bygone era and complete with all the modern conveniences of today. We also hit both pools that's offered and we have dinner at galaxy bowl. Our room was located at the new bayside tower overlooking Volcano Bay. We LOVE LOVE LOVE cabana bay! We stay here any chance we get! We stayed at pop century on our last trip in the hopes it would have the same vibe, but it just didn’t compare!
I would highly recommend this place at Christmas time. Awesome retro/mid century modern Christmas decor and I could spend hours watching the retro commercials in bay liner diner.
Coolest part about this place is when you go under water you can hear old 50s and 60s music
Definitely not the case spent the whole day @ the pool 6 mons ago and there was no music…..
@@shellysmom7002 boss I’ve been twice over a week time both times and they had that. Maybe they got rid of it after the pandemic but before it they had it
@@babufrik6595 They have it now! I stayed there a few months ago and I definitely heard the music under the water. It definitely makes for a good time!
@@shellysmom7002 I work there as a Lifegaurd. There is music in the pool where the hideaway bar is. I get that question 1,000 times a day

Love love LOVE Cabana Bay! FYI you can bring your own tubes and rafts from home to use in the lazy river and pool. Also, if you do purchase a tube there, take it to the counter and they will give you a new one uninflated in the package to pack for home. Great souvenir!

Stayed here in November from the uk, side entrance to 🌋🏝 was such an easy useful touch, fish tacos around the pool was lush, service was incredible, pool movies was nice. Best stay so far in Orlando for the last 6 yrs 👍🏽🇺🇸🏴

We just stayed there 20-25 May. Loved the resort and had a great time. Also got lucky with getting reservations at the Magic Kingdom too.

We stayed there on our last trip to Florida. The family suites are great. Enough room for everyone. So much to do and you can walk to universal studios instead of taking the bus.
Every time I go to volcano bay I stay at this resort just cause the pathway is so easy and I can come and go whenever I want a break.
I enjoyed staying here, we were able to take a convenient shuttle to and from the park. After the park closed we went to the pool and made s’mores. The bowling alley was booked every night so I never got a chance to go.
We parked the car the day that we checked in and didn’t have to move it for any reason since we ate at the parks or at the resort.
Thanks for such a detailed tour of the resort. The lazy river would be a big plus for me. I lived through that décor/decade so I'm not so attracted to that. Good to know about the noise.
Omg!!!That is my favorite resort i have talked about this Resort half of Chicago lol let me tell you Dev i should be working for them cause i have sent so many people there that they come back thanking me for telling them of the Resort.
I stayed at Surfside last November and it was really nice for the price. This one looks like a step up even from that. I LOVE a view of the parks. Thanks for the heads up. I always travel with ear plugs just in case.
