Chevrolet rules Nascar Cup Series
I think the SPLITTERS extend further out on the Chevys. If the grill was the official marking point it may have been a different story. I’d like to see the finish line picture advanced. Not that they’d rule any different.
Also credit the Kyle Busch for bringing out the caution that caused this to happen.

What’s amazing about Kyle Larson is he almost won in a sprint car Saturday night at lakeside speedway also was a contender for Friday nights show. Both nights he stayed and signed autographs tell everyone in the HUGE line had a chance to meet him. The man is amazing!!! A living legend!!!!!!

The Atlanta race was pretty crazy too. There have been a couple really good finishes this season
Thankfully we have high speed cameras or we would have swore it was the other way around. Larson passed him about an 1/8 inch before the finish line.
I also noticed that the finish line isn't painted straight throughout and looks like it bubbles out towards Kyles car about 3/8ths an inch at least. Yes?
@@PPBerklee Heh, I've been posting that all over, I wonder if that affected the scoring/timing sections. If it did, it's B.S. I think Buescher won.
@@robertanderson2898 no it's electronic timing and scoring has been for years, the line is just to give visual for drivers and spectators. In the 80s maybe but by the mid 90s it was converting to digital systems

According to the official or whoever that was speaking at the end, the margin of victory was at least 0.0000. That means Larson won by at least a one hundred thousandth of a second.
Edit: Official margin is .001. One thousandth of a second.

I believe the official results round to the thousandths, but the finish was definitely under that. Theyve gone this long without it ever being an issue lol.
What in Hell was the No. 6 team thinking taking 4 tires with two laps remaining. They took themselves right out of the race. Just dead Stupid.
Truex also took four tires during that caution and lost 10 spots down to 11th

We've been getting some great races this year. The Next Gen car does way better with these types of tracks
It's obvious where and when these cars perform the best....at night, and on mile 1/2's....Charlotte, Atlanta, Kansas and I bet anywhere else at night on these types of tracks as well.

Now that we see how fantastic this car is on the 1.5s let’s get rid of some of the short track dates and get Chicagoland back on the schedule and a second Charlotte oval date!
Man, not I'm not only sorry for Chris Buescher, but for Ford at all. 3 photo finishes this season, Ford lost all of them. It's rather sad, just like smelling some good brisket at a barbecue and not having a single bite of it. I'd rather see the fords in dead last, but not this way.

The paint does look pretty jacked up. But definitely not enough to change the winner.
It was definitely uneven. I'm not sure it affected the timing/scoring loops or not, but if it did it's a B.S. win for Larson.
It was Def messed up. And if u look at it the line is thicker at Larson and whether it is straight or not It looks like 17 I'd ahead regardless. They it goes by timing and scoring but timing had 17 ahead till they changed it? I still think it was 17 and I guess the chevy has a longer splitter cause 17 car Def ahead but splitter is longer on parsons car!

I loved the race all the way through, but I think they need to check the splitter on Larson,s # 5 to me it looks a little longer at the time of the flag, but then is normal length after like when his car is in the winner circle. I hope I am wrong, because like I said what a race what a race. I loved every minute of it

So what ur sayin is Larsons splitter is set up so he can push a button to extend or retract his splitter whenever he wants in order to cheat and yet still have it be able to be hidden enough to make it through all the inspections not to mention all the people and officials crawling around the thing all weekend without anyone noticing..yet last week someone knocked a fin slightly out of place while pushing the thing onto the track which they not only noticed immediately but fked him over pretty good for.. huh?
