இந்த பாசுரம் பல்லாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு வாழ்ந்த ஆழ்வாரின் வாக்கு (ஆழ்வார்களின் வாக்கு என்றுமே பொய்த்ததில்லை ).
இந்த பாசுரத்திற்கான அர்த்தம் இரண்டு வரிகளில் எளிதாக அனைவருக்கும் புரிந்து கொள்ளும்படியாகவே அமையப்பெற்றிருக்கும்.
அதே போல் ப்ருகு மஹரிஷி ஸ்ரீமன் நாராயணன் தான் முன் முதற்கடவுள் என்று பறைசாற்றியதும் புராணங்களில் உள்ளது.
மறுபிறவி இல்லாத மோக்ஷம் கொடுக்கும் ஒரே கடவுளும் ஸ்ரீமன் நாராயணன் ஒருவனே வேறு எந்த தெய்வத்தையும் குறிப்பிட்டதாக எந்த பிரமாணமும் இன்று வரை இல்லை என்பதும் உலகறிந்த விஷயம் இதையும் மறுக்க இயலாது

Those who continue comparing Shiva and vishnu, here in the comments, do not understand the essence of what sadguru is saying.
Just take a step back and explore within urself about why r u comparing in the first place? What r u trying to prove by claiming Shiva is superior or vishnu is superior? Does it matter? These r names given by ppl to a power they perceived as God. The forms we see r simply how man visualise God. So what's the purpose of comparing two different concepts?
It doesn't matter whether Shiva or vishnu is superior. This is no competition. The ultimate purpose between the two sects of ppl (who pray to shiv n vishnu) is the same. The purpose is simply self realisation and finding the reason behind our existence. U can do so by following either, or even other religions.
Instead of proving who is more superior, u would do better of u channel the same effort in trying to understand the meaning of life and the fundamentals of ur existence. That's what sadguru is trying to understand.
Sadly not many can grasp this ideology.

ஐயா, தாங்கள் அனைவருக்கும் ஒரு, வேண்டுகோள். இந்து மதத்திற்குள் சிவன் விஷ்ணுவுடன், கிராம தேவதைகள், கருப்பசாமி, சொரிமுத்து எல்லாம் உண்டு. சொரிமுத்துவை உருவாக்கியவர் கிருத்தோதாஸ் காந்தி என்ற Scheduled caste, உறுப்பினர். சிறிது நாட்களுக்கு முன் ஒரு TV விவாத மேடையில் ராமனை செருப்பால் அடிப்பேன் என்றாரே அவர்தான்.
நமது நாடு, இப்போதுதான் சுதந்திரம் அடைந்துள்ளது. இந்த 70 வருடங்களுக்குள் ஏன் நாம், யார் பெரியவர் என்று கேட்டு, பிரிவினையை உண்டாக்கவேண்டும்.?.
தோற்றவர், மதம் மாறுவார். பின் அடுத்த நாட்டுக்காரர்கள், இவர்கள் மூலமாக, உள்ளே, வந்து மறுபடியும், இந்த நாடு அடிமை நாடாக ஆக்குவான். அதனால் தயவு செய்து யார் பெரிய தெய்வம் என்று பார்க்க இது நேரம் இல்லை. கிருத்துவர்களையும் இந்து ஆக்க வேண்டிய நேரம் இது.ஒருவர் செய்யும் வேலையை வைத்து, ஒரு காலத்தில் சாதி பிரித்தார்கள் முன்னோர்.
ஆனால், இந்த வேலையும், சுதந்திரத்திற்கு பிறகு, சமமாக, எல்லோருக்கும் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்கள். அதுதான் இட ஒதுக்கீடு.
SC, களுக்கு இருக்கும் இட ஒதுக்கீடு மட்டும் ஒரு கன்டிஷனுடன் கூடியது.
அதாவது, the Constitution ( Scheduled Caste) Order 1950, இப்படி கூறுகிறது. para ,4- " notwithstanding anything contained in para 2, no person who professes a religion different from Hinduism shall be deemed to be a member of Scheduled Caste." என்று. அதாவது, SC, என்பவர் பட்டியல் சாதி ஒன்றில் பிறந்திருந்தாலும், அவர் இந்து மதத்தை பின்பற்றினால் மட்டுமே, SC என்கிறது, இந்த ஆணைப்படி, SC கள், பட்டியல் சாதி தொழிலை விட்டு விட்டு இந்து ஆகவேண்டும். மாட்டிறைச்சி சாப்பிடுவதையும் விட்டு விட்டு, இந்து ஆக வேண்டும்.
சொரிமுத்துவை தெய்வமாக, எண்ணுபவரகள் சுதந்திரத்துக்கு மட்டுமல்ல, இந்து மத்த்திற்கு எதிராகவும் அன்று இருந்திருப்பார்கள். கிருத்தோதாஸ் காந்தி ஒரு IAS. அவர் ராமரை செருப்பால் அடிப்பேன் என்ற அளவுக்கு சென்று விட்டார். இது ஏன் என்று நாம்தான் சற்று யோசிக்க வேண்டும்.
மதம் மாற்ற எண்ணுபவர்கள், முதலில் இந்த SCகளைத்தான் குறி வைக்கிறார்கள். 1936ல் பிரிட்டிஷ் அரசு, SC, listஐ தயாரித்தது. மாட்டிறைச்சி சாப்பிடுபவர்களை SC என்றது. அதே. சட்டத்தில் இனி, இந்தியகிருத்துவர் யாரும் SC இல்லை என்றது. இப்படி பிரித்ததே, மதம் மாற்றுவதற்காகத்தான்.
சிவன் பெரியவரா, விஷ்ணு பெரியவரா என்பதை தற்சமயம் பேசாமல், இந்த SC, ST, களின் மீது கவனம் செலுத்துவோம். இந்து மதத்தின் மீது மட்டும் கவனம் செலுத்துவோம்.
முதலில் ST. சுதந்திரத்திற்கு பிறகும் இவர்கள் மதம் மாறலாம் என்றிருக்கிறது. கிருத்தவராக இருந்து கொண்டே, இவர் 7.5% இட ஒதுக்கீட்டை வாங்கலாம். தீண்டாமை ஒழிப்பு சட்டம் உண்டு.முதலில் இவர்களை இந்துவாக மட்டும் இருக்க மட்டும் ஆவன வேண்டும். இந்துவுக்குள் என்ன சாதி என்று ஒரு பிரச்சனை வரும். யார் இவர்களை இந்துவாக மாற்றுகிறார்களோ, அந்த சாதிதான் இவர்களுக்கும். இல்லை என்றால், இந்து ஆவது என்பது வீண்.
பிறகு SC. இவர்கள் இந்துவாக மட்டுமே இருக்கவேண்டும் என்று 1950லிருந்தே, சட்டம் இருக்கிறது. ஆனாலும் பிரயோஜனம் இல்லை. இந்துவில் இவர்கள் சாதி என்ன என்று தெரியவில்லை. பட்டியல் சாதி, எதுவும் இந்துக்கான சாதி இல்லை. அதனால் சமீபகாலமாக, இவர்களில் அனேகர் சர்ச்சுக்கு போக ஆரம்பித்திருக்கிறார்கள்.
90%க்கு மேல் இன்று இவர்கள் இந்து cum கிருத்துவர்.
பின் ஒரு காலத்தில் இவர்களுக்கு பெரும்பான்மை வந்தவுடன் christian என்பார்கள். அப்போது, இந்துக்களின் தலைக்கு மேல் வெள்ளம் போயிருக்கும். ஒன்றும் செய்ய முடியாது. அவர்கள் SC listல் இடம் official லாக கேட்பார்கள்.நாமும் கொடுத்துவிட வேண்டியது தான். அப்புறம் SC அனைவரும் கிருத்துவர்கள் தான். நம் நாடும் அடிமை தான்.
ஆகவே, தயவு செய்து, தாங்கள் அனைவரும் நமக்குள் விவாதம் செய்வதை விட்டு விட்டு, SC/ST மீது கவனம் செலுத்துங்கள். முடிந்தால் அவர்களுக்கு தீட்க்ஷை கூட அளிக்கலாம். தவறில்லை. எல்லோரையும், சுத்த சைவம் ஆக்கலாம். அல்லது, இவர்களின் சாதி என்ன என்பதை கட்டாயம் நிர்ணயம் செய்ய வேண்டும். இதன்பிறகு, சிவன் உயர்ந்த கடவுளா, விஷ்ணு உயர்ந்த கடவுளா என்று நிர்ணயம் செய்யலாம்.

Sri Jaggi ji, its a bit odd to know that on one hand you don't ( or even believe) read scriptures like Bhagavad Gita , etc where Krsna says to Arjuna,

O conqueror of wealth, there is no truth superior to Me. Everything rests upon Me, as pearls are strung on a thread.
these and the so many other verses such as the following in Srimad Bhagavatam, written by the same author who authored Vedas (veda vyas) ....
ete cāṁśa-kalāḥ puṁsaḥ
kṛṣṇas tu bhagavān svayam
indrāri-vyākulaṁ lokaṁ
mṛḍayanti yuge yuge
All of the above-mentioned incarnations are either plenary portions or portions of the plenary portions of the Lord, but Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the original Personality of Godhead. All of them appear on planets whenever there is a disturbance created by the atheists. The Lord incarnates to protect the theists.
and on the other hand you read (and apparently) and perhaps trust, a "scientific" study conducted that too by the British with naturally imperfect senses that we possess. Seems like a selective and perhaps a leap of faith that may not befit a person of your realization.
Even if one were to worship nirguna Brahman, there is less emphasis on any form forget Rudra.
I understand that if the emphasis laid by an individual is on the nirguna brahman, then for the respective atman, Brahman realization is the supreme most. But still there exists an inconceivable difference and oneness with the supreme ( acintya bheda abeda tattva). If it were not the case, why would not the entire Brahman be encapsulated by a body and why would only a part of Brahman be encapsulated with a body (due to desires).
Forgive me , but these are realizations passed forth by several sages.

Forget puranas even Vedas declare Narayana as supreme parabrahman, more than other deities. Discrete by yourself if Brahma or Shiva is God why Vhisnu in every era takes avater preserve good peaples and kills demons; Shiva and Brahma also incarnates but as a cooperative.
