- join us on our overnight hunting/tramping trip the 4 of us carried out for the weekend, we managed to bag a deer and put to use our ingredients we carried in and cooked ourselves some venison for dinner
From South Auckland never been hunting don't know anyone who's about that life but looks good one day I'll be out there . Nice vid 👍

Hunting is very common in New Zealand, and is becoming more popular, there have been recent firearms law changes which I do not know how it affects new licences, but a firearms licences is all it takes to get Into the sport
All that meat on the deer and you guys only ate the back strap.
If you cannot see we carried the whole animal to the hut, ate the backstrap at the hut and boned the rest out to bring home

That accent is horrific.
Sadly that is a very common accent now, too many teachers and parents not correcting speech, and frowning when aunty does. Think they thought it to be old fashioned. But this was a great video and now I have another but to visit, thanks guys
