I’m a Russian and I wanted to find out why are they called that. Still satisfied with this tasty looking cream thingys.
Same, didn't even know our country had such a thing for pipes lol
Lola Murha The origin is murky ranging from the tips having been first manufactured in Moscow to the name being arbitrarily to the tips by the first store that sold them.
Удивительно
Lola Murha Служу России 🇷🇺
It was widely used in USSR and in 90's. My mom had a lot of these.
I loved the video it's very helpful but I had a hard time seeing the pattern when you used the white and yellow frosting :(
yes i noticed that too, sorry about that
And also the close up when you put on the double colour icing was really hard to see so try and do it and a face down angle
Same here. :''D

Arstotzka is greatest country! No need passport, right?
@@tasertag7513 yeah except Arstotzka wasn't alluring to ussr.
Loved your video but yellow was a terrible color to choose. I couldn't see the details very well. Contrast collors work better ;)
Netsuki Amamya I thought the same thing.
Netsuki Amamya i agree
Netsuki Amamya Yellow was a GREAT colour Idiot🤬😡
@Tavia Seymour Well you're a bit overreacting to this. Who hurt you so much that you have to insult people over their opinions on frosting colors? I pity you and hope you get help with all your issues. 💕
Nobody's an 'idiot' for not being able to see details on a bright coloured thing. Why are people so damn rude?
“I bought 70... so you don’t have to”
Me: yeah, so I’m gonna want all of them.
So you like Harry Potter??
I love Harry Potter
@@hermionegranger4951 yeah I do :)
Cool
Well, you might not want all of them. Oftimes you don't have a choice as they come in a pack, but it can help you choose.
I found out that the tulip and violet shaped ones were the ones I used most, whereas the dotted ones look nice for flower centers, and not so much as grass. I don't care for the ball shaped ones either, I believe traditional pipping tips do a better job at individual petals, leaves and ruffles.

Can we all just appreciate the amount of buttercream and tiny cupcakes Ann made for this video??
Sure .... but I'm more appreciative of the facts and scientific notions she lets us know and how she always has something in her videos to educate us and make us more aware of the world too.

Happy Good Friday Everyone (and Happy Easter for Sunday)! Here's a question for you... with dwindling / unreliable adsense on CZcams now I have been considering whether to upload less often OR start a Patreon to help fund video costs. Do you think I should? Is it something you'd support? IF this is something you'd consider actually supporting what rewards would you like to get in support tiers? Please don't answer the rewards question if you're not interested in supporting because then the answers won't actually be helpful to me. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Patreon it is a website where people can pledge monthly donations to support creative people to help them continue to do what they do. In return there are usually some thank you rewards for different levels of support. I dislike asking for help, so I have been tossing around this idea for some months now and finally got the courage to ask what you think... be honest
How To Cook That I will support no matter what you choose ok 👍
How To Cook That Personally I wouldn't be able to support you on Patron, it's such a shame with how CZcams is digressing :((
How To Cook That honestly, I think you should do whichever makes you happier. From the consumer perspective, I think Patreon would be a better route.

i love how quickly she gets to the point of the video
i love that Ann discovers a fault but it’s not one that can’t be worked out by changing the frosting color…so it’s really making the flowers look more authentic by accident!
The double and single layered petals all look so cute.
Most of them remind me of barnacles rather than flowers

I really like the ones that make shapes like succulant plants haha. I also liked some of the double layer ones. I liked the snowflake one (cuz that one is just so cute) and the absolute last one. I love that one too!
swweeeeeeeet editing, love it
Chew Bacca is that a pun intended
I loved the one with like spirals and all of the flowers that had two layers of petals
I really enjoyed this video. You covered so many tips, and the fact that you worked hard to give us a sample of every one of those tips is perfection. I have seen so many videos with just a few tips used and it's been difficult to determine which ones I like. The fact that you use so many of them and how the end result looks is awesome thank you so much for all of your hard work.
Look how she demonstrates on glass so that you can learn and understand! So clear and crisp. Yaull dont understand, i have seen thousands of cooking videos and ms ann is the smartest and sharpest! Beyond wise and talented. Forgive my long comment but i have seen her for years and never really spoke. She deserves praise!
"I will test them for you so you only have to buy what you like"
Me: **buys all of them anyways because I'm in love with it**
I loook forward to these videos every week 😊
So much effort, even stop motion and she kept it simple, not stretched to 10mins. This is what content should be.
Piping on glass and filming from underneath was very helpful.
I wish you numbered each tip and row. Then could identify the ones I like and the ones I loath!
Agreed.
Ann, this is an amazing tutorial! Keep up the good work, and HAPPY EASTER!
Bradley Lunn i wish people gave me compliments
happy Easter Bradley
It's 3am and I'm watching Anne piping roses made of Russian piping bags
That’s some extreme hard work right there! Respect you a lot Ann and Dave. Thank you for bringing us these videos and helping us☺️
Beautiful video, thank you! I especially like the first two with the purple inside and blue outside colors. Stunning!
The double layer petals are my favourite
That was so nice to watch. Honestly I like most of the “flower center” ones the best but the double layer ones also looked nice
Those tips are so awesome! Explains why all the Russian cakes I have seen that have had these kinds of flowers look so pretty. Thanks for sharing!
How to cook that happy Easter 🐣. I really admire you as you are an amazing baker and mom. Thank you so much and I wish you get 10 mill subscribers!
Thanks The Diamond Ore
Impressive production value!! Super in love w/ the editing 😍😍😍
Some 35 years ago I worked in an ice cream store and we made and sold ice cream cakes. Some of these tips remind me of these pre-made sugar flowers we had on hand to make decorating easier for novices like me. One that really caught my attention was the one that looked like a snowflake. Could totally see that one used on holiday cakes, cupcakes and cookies.
thank you for buying and testing them all out, I just couldn't decide and took a screenshot of all of them!
I can only imagine how long that last stock motion animation thing took 😮
Нихуя не понятно, но очень интересно)
Наконечники для кондитерского мешка(я хз как их у вас называют).Эти штуки зовутся "русскими" в основном потому что в россии было создано парочку таких формочек.

I love the double petal layer and the fine cut patterns, especially the snowflake one.
I suck at cooking and all of this kind of stuff, but watching this channel actually helps a lot! Ann's a smart cookie and does awesomely explaining what & what not to do and why.
I love the one with all most a triple layer of petals it looks like a 🌹
I love your channel you are the best
😀 Hi Aaditya sending hugs to you 😀
Russian Piping tips are so fun to use. And their also sooo convinient bc they make flower making sooo easy. I LOVE UU!!
Great job, I've never seen another video on Russian piping tips with actual information and review that helps people. Others just put frosting on a cake and don't talk about the features like this. Keep being excellent!
Omg some of these are so cute like instant cherry blossoms!
Perfect Friday night watching How to cook that!!!! 😍😍😍😍❤️
Happy Friday Awatea 😀
Likewise Ann! ❤️
This video is perfect for me! I’ve already been really interested in trying out new piping tips with my family and our fun creations. I can’t wait to try some of these out for myself!
The double row of petals with dots and a fidget spinner shaped thing in the middle was my favorite
This was a cool vid but the frosting was to light to see details, especially on the white background and the over saturated colors...
@Michael Persico my screen is on lowest brightness, the light colors are still bad...
I hate to say this so much but this was also with me
Wow that's awesome!!!
I'm Russian 💘
I loved all shapes! 💕
I've been a fan of yours for years. I love every video you make regardless of the relevance for me. I was surprised at how fond I am about your debunking videos. You explain things so adroitly, so clear.
I really enjoy you and when your husband joins you. You have such good chemistry together. 🙂
I really liked the look of the tip with the outer layer of 3 petals, inner layer of 5, and with the middle thats 6 dots surounding a little shape. I also liked the first of the "fine cut patterns" along with the snowflake.
When I look at those I always think of the Kiev cake, my absolute favorite cake in the world
Omg thats what they reminded me of! kiev cake is the best
beautiful editing Ann!!!
The red flower/snowflake ones are huge! I love it
The first two tips were the prettiest because they gave super big and pretty flowers.
Happy Easter☺️☺️ love ur vids ❤️
thanks pink fluffy unicorn ... you too 😊
I woke up at this time because i had a nightmare so i am going to see your video to calm
Praying for good thoughts and sweet dreams 💤😴💤
Leave it to Ann to take a trendy thing, and literally outdo every other attempt for the next 10 years. Queen.
The fine cut details are easily my fave! They are so Kitsch! Very groovy.
I-like-the-"Fine-Cut-Tips",-and-the-"Double-Petal-Tips"-the-best.--They-are-all-quite-nice,-though!
Double layer petals and fine cut patterns Ike the best for sure. I would actually like to purchase those two kinds
The snowflake one was so pretty! And the last double layers of petals looked like a little cabbage, I thought. Maybe that was just because of the green coloring that you used in the frosting. Thanks for taking the time and butter to do this!
I really loved the tip that looks like a snowflake design in the last set. It made a pretty looking flower with all the groves on the petals
In the future people will remember Australia with its pet name 'ANN'
🇳🇿💕
When I first met my Australian neighbours (I live in Canada now), all I could hear was 'Welcome to How to Cook That, I'm Ann Reardon..." and I showed them the channel and they love it!
My favorite is the one with a lot thick dots at 3:58
The star shaped fine cut tip looks a lot like cherry blossom and I love it very much
I liked the tips that made the flowers with ridges on the outer petals and the fine cut patterns. They remind me of spritz cookies.
Thank you for making this video!! It it sooooo helpful
Great, glad you liked it Linnea 😀

Dear Ann😊. You have done soo much me and all your other subscribers. You barely take breaks from making videos ( which you deserve). If focusing on more payed work is what you want to do I will support you 100 %. And anyways we don't have the right to force you into doing something you aren't comfortable with. You aren't our own baking slave you have the right to make choices too. Even though I probably won't be able to donate to on patreon ( because I don't have much money) I still think you should go for it if it is what you want. Just so you know I will be happy with whatever decision you make ( as long as it makes you happy). Because when you're happy I'm happy. I love you ❤️ ❤️❤️ have a nice Good Friday and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
3:55 to 4:05 were amazing!! Those were the best(in my opinion)🎂🎂
