Battle of Shiloh Day 1

The Battle of Shiloh was fought on April 6-7 1862. During the battle, the Confederate army under General Albert Sydney Johnston surprised and attacked the Union army of the Tennessee under General Ulysses S. Grant, driving them from their camps. Join me as I talk about the fighting on April 6th. Stay tuned for day 2, the fighting on April 7th, in which the Union army is able to snatch victory away from the jaws of defeat and reverse the Confederate Army.
