Im away for a few weeks so can't show it now, but I just taped the two empty ends together with aluminum tape, drilled a hole though each end for the exhaust pipe to go through, making sure there was an very slight angle down, just in case of moister. Then just drilled smaller vent holes in the indoor side
How big is your garage? Mine is about 20x20 and thinking about getting one of these so I can work in it. I am in the process of insulating it, I have the walls done. But the doors are pretty leaky and still need to work on the ceiling.
All a wall thimble does is allow air space around the hot pipe and dissipate the heat. That’s a great idea for people. Cool stuff 👍
