Hunting for Nephrite Jade on the Fraser River!

I'm out on the Fraser River near Lytton in this video hunting for nephrite jade. There is serpentine absolutely everywhere in this area so coming across jade itself is difficult. I spent the day finding great specimens which I will go through in the next video with some specific tests to determine what we found!

4:50 I also get distracted by pretty green rocks on the beach, but that chonk of gneiss just to the left would have filled my backpack.

Lol. To be fair, he does have some legit pieces. Regardless, I've found something more valuable in my opinion and am in the process of creating another video.
And no, it's not gold.
